A Queery Tale

Homecoming Day

             The girls decided to do their hair in the morning. Delilah doesn't do anything to her hair because she's just going to put a helmet on anyways. They've all picked out their dresses. Delilah's wearing a sparkly pink dress because that's what her mom wants. Brenn's going in a sparkly silver dress with a pink belt because she wants to subtly match Delilah. Allen is wearing a blue dress the color of the sky on a beautiful day. Justin is wearing a teal dress that is backless, but not completely.

     Brenn thought Delilah was  the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen, but today she truly couldn't breathe at the sight of her. She had no words that could ever describe how amazing she was in Brenn's mind. She thought this is going to be the best night of her life. Nothing can take away her happiness for this night.

     Through all of her classes she couldn't stop thinking about Delilah. The whole time there was a huge smile on her face. Even though she was "dating" Tim and wearing his jersey all she thought of was her girlfriend. Delilah had to not think of Brenn until after the game though because if she did she wouldn't be able to stop and she would forget her plays.

     At lunch Delilah sat next to Jared and Brenn sat across from them with Tim. They had to pretend they were dating so nobody figured out who was really dating. Justin and Allen were surprised when Delilah walked in holding Jared's hand and Brenn holding Tim's. That was Delilah's plan so nobody would know. they had to really act like they were actually dating. Even though it hurt them they all knew that's what they needed to do so they could all go to the dance together considering Tim wasn't necessarily apart of their friend group.

     After lunch they all went to there classes coincidentally Delilah and Tim had the exact same schedule and Brenn and Jared had the same schedule too. Now that they're doing this partner swap thing they've started sitting next to the person dating their person. They ask each other how the partner is. The classes seem to take for ever. During seventh period (the last period of the day) everyone is nervous how the game and the dace will go.

     While at the game Jared, Brenn, Allen, and Justin sit in the very cold bleachers. Watching the game intensely. At halftime the score was 6 to 0.  While they run into the locker room Delilah point at Jared as if to say this was for him and Tim did the same to Brenn. They all secretly knew who they were pointing at, but nobody else did. The game ended up being 16 to 0.    

      They all went to Delilah's to put on their dresses and met their dates. The dance was phenominal the previous king and queen congratulated the new. People danced the whole time causing the gym to smell like sweat, but everyone ignored it. Delilah ad Brenn danced together, but laughed and it was kind of goofy so people wouldn't think anything of it. While they danced Jared and Tim sat there and watched, they were standing close so that their arms touched.  when the dance was over they all went to Delilah's house so they  could dance with their actual partners.

     As they got to Delilah's house the maid had decorated her room so it looked like a dance. It was even better than the school gym. Evryone was astonished. they turned on the music playlist and danced and laughed for two hours.

      "This is perfect." Brenn said with her eyes soft towards Delilah.

      "I know it is." Deilah said and she quickly pecked Brenn's lips right as the door opens.

     "You all need to leave right now!" Delilah's mother shouted angrily.

     They all grabbed their things and left.

     "What is wrong with you Delilah! I told you to drop this made up fantasy of dating a princess! Susan come take all of this down!" She screamed as Delilah cried.

      "You will not ever see that girl again do you understand me!"

     "But mo...." she was interrupted.

     "Never Delilah!" she said as stirn as she could.
