I groaned as I now set my empty plate on the coffee table. I wasn't mad, I was full from eating. I glanced at Harry but he was too busy on his phone. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my plate as I stood up. I licked my dry lips before making my way into the kitchen with Harry following close behind me. I tried to ignore him but I knew what was going to happen once I was at the sink and it was something I anticipcated.
"Bear." He voice was soft as he brought up my childhood nickname. I set my plate in the sink so I could rinse it and out it in the dishwasher. His arms wrapped tightly around my middle as he rested his chin on my shoulder.
"Gummy." I chuckled as a groan escaped is lips. We were called Gummy Bear because our parents claimed we were perfect together, two peas in a pod, well a Gummy Bear. We were always together from the first day we met until he went on the X-Factor. Harry knew everything about me and I knew all about him. He laced his fingers together as he held me.
"I'm sorry." We both whispered. I chuckled as a hearty laugh shook through his body. It felt so familiar and I miss it so dearly.
"Ladies first." Harry politely stated. I heaved a long sigh as I thought of the right words to say. Harry chuckled at my hesitation.
"I'm sorry for acting like a child." I spoke the words that he would always say to me. We both laughed at my words. "I reckon its your turn."
"I reckon so. Well erhm I'm sorry for over reacting and raising my voice." Harry mimicked my words that had been spoken many years ago after every single one of our fights. We would cuddle and make up.
"You guys are something else." Louis' voice said from behind us. Harry let me go and we turned to see his mates had now occupied the bartstools at the counter. I hid my face into Harry's back as my embarassment grew as the boys continued to pick on us, telling us we would be a cute couple and stuff.
"Shut up." Harry mumbled to the lads. "Go back to the telly." The boys mumbled an okay before leaving, Niall's laughter could be heard fading into the distance, leaving arry and I alone. "Sorry."
"It's fine." I mumbled against his back. I stepped away and looked up at the side of his face. He wasn't smiling. He mumbled something I couldn't understand. "What the mocha frappucino with skim milk a dash of sugar and whip cream are you talking about?"
"Sorry? Did you become a Cali girl or something? Where are the Uggs?" Harry joked. I smiled at my old friend before I wrapped my arms around him. I felt him wrap his arms around me so we could hold each other tightly.
"I've missed you."
"Addison, can we sleep over?" Liam's voice was small as he asked. I glanced over at Liam before giving him an ok nod. Liam disappeared calmly but he squeakily told the boys that they were staying the night. Obviously excited.
"And I'm sharing a bed with you, right? For old times sake, yeah?" Harry spoke. I looked back up at him with a nod. His dimpled grin appeared on his face as he let me go. I stood in the kitchen completely dumbfounded.
"What the?" I said causing Harry to stop and look at me. His smile was gone as he watched me try to put all the pieces together.
"Yes?"
"One Direction. My house. Sleep over." Harry grinned happily at me.
"And your best friend."
