Alya's POV

A new day. A new attitude. Same mystery boy. Today is the day I become closer to Miles. Something tells me that we are going to be great friends. It kind of seems like he is good buddies with Jax. I can't stop thinking about what I saw yesterday. It replays in my mind over and over again. Music, I thought to myself. That's what I need to focus on until I see him again. I got out my songbook and thought of some ideas, even though I have bad writers block. You can describe my writing style in my rendition of the three B's Bitchy, Bitter, and/or Badass. Mr. Park said that we have to get together in pairs to work on a duet piece that talked about anything we wanted. Surprisingly Miles asked me if I wanted to be his partner, of course I accepted. At first I asked him what he wanted to sing about. Then he talked about shallow guy stuff like money, fame, and a yacht full of cash. As I said before shallow guy stuff. I told him to dig deeper and find a creative story within a topic other than fame. It took him a while to think so we put a pause on that. That's when we started to drift off topic and play a mocking game on our guitars, that when I would play a riff and he would repeat it. We would laugh and laugh. After our last round of battle of the riffs the bell rang.

" Should we head back to class?" He asked.
" Sure I don't want a detention after school," I said.
" Hey could you do me a favor?" He asked.
"Sure, anything!" I said coming off a little head on.
" Meet me after free period I have something for you," Miles said with a smirk.
"Ok, sure, see you then," and at that we left down the halls.

Such a freaking troll right? I have good news and bad news. Bad news is that I am going to fast forward. For the sake of my sanity and for the suspense that is what must happen. Good news is that I will TRY (meaning I will do my best) to update everyday. Lastly I am so so so so sorry for the late chapter!! Had hella bad writers block!!
