*where did M'gann get the drugs? How will Alfred react? Will Batman find a cure? Find out in the sequel! BTW, sorry for the wait guys! More from me at the end...*

*Two hours before the incident*

M'gann flipped through the pages of her cookery book absent mindedly, deep in thought of what recipe she'd try next.

So far she'd made great progress with her cooking skills, and was ecstatic to give her bakery some diversity.

Her eye caught something shining in the ajar cupboard to the left of her head.

She inquisitively tilted her head to the side, and stopped leafing through the book to investigate.

She opened the cupboard and peered inside.

She furrowed her eyebrows when she saw a vile of purplish liquid labeled 'Enhanced'.

She perked slightly and instantly took the vile.

Reading the lable more clearly under the light of the kitchen, she could see the small print.

'The contents of this vile enhances...' she couldn't read the rest.

She guessed that since it was in the kitchen cupboards, it was one kind of flavour enhancing liquid.

She had no idea what affects this decision would have later...

Alfred's POV:

Alfred had just finished his cleaning rounds on the manor, and was about to retire for the night.

Before he did so, like every night, he checked if Bruce was still awake.

He knew the answer would normally be 'yes', but he didn't feel at ease until he made sure Bruce was alright.

This feeling of unease was especially apparent when Dick was staying the night at Mt Justice.

Bruce normally checked on his adopted son, as he often still suffered from night terrors.

Recently, though, they'd made leaps with getting Dick to sleep normally again, and the trauma was starting to pass.

Which was why he was allowed to stay away from home now.

So, like the loyal butler he is, Alfred cleared away his cleaning equipment and made his way down to the Cave.

Of course, it didn't come as much as a surprise to see the Bat Computer's screen still blaring, sending blue light bouncing off of the walls and giving the dwelling an eerie feel.

What really shocked him, though, was the fact that Bruce wasn't behind the desk.

At that time of night, he'd normally be coming back from patrol.

He'd come back earlier tonight so that he could get some more information on a rising level in petty theft gangs.

And since he wasn't here like he should be, the alarm bells started ringing.

Before he could panic, the zeta tubes flared to life and half blinded the butler.

Hysterical laughter tore the comfortable silence, and a screaming child being carried infront of a less than impressed hero stepped out if the bright light.

"What in earth..." Alfred muttered.

He wasn't too shocked, though. He'd seen worse.

"Alfred. Get the medical bed ready. Make sure to get the straps out." Bruce grumbled, trying to dodge flailing limbs and at the same time not drop his son.
