It's a sunny day in pallet town and a girl around the age of 8 walks through the forest her hair was honey blond and her eyes are blue like sapphires. She ran away from home because she was forced to train Rhyhorn racing again. 

Her mom Grace was a world-famous rhyhorn racer and wanted the same for her daughter.

At first, she had her dad to say that she trained enough. But he died in a car accident 2 months earlier. 

She missed him, she missed his smile, she missed the stories he told before she went to bed. But most of all she missed his voice. 

She finally found the spot where her dad always took her when she was upset. It was a beautiful open spot in the middle of the forest. Flowers were blooming and pokemon were playing. She took a picture of her dad out of a pocket of her sun-dress she was sitting on his shoulders and her mom stood next to them. It was the last photo of him alive. It was taken 3 days before the horrible crash. She began to sob tears were falling from her eyes.

why daddy wherever you are I miss you... She looked at the sky more tears started to fall, daddy, I know that you can hear me I know you watching over me like mommy sais. but I want you to be here. Please, dad mommy misses you. Please come back. 

Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. The girl looked up and saw a boy about her age with spiky raven black hair and deep auburn eyes with a worried expression on his face. 

Are you alright? He asked. 

The girl shook her head. I miss my daddy she sobbed. 

Where is your daddy then? He asked.

He died 2 months ago. The girl broke down in tears after saying that. 

She felt the boy's arms wrap around her. The boy suddenly said. I am sorry i know how it feels my dad passed away not a year ago. He let go of the hug. And wiped away a tear on his cheek. He stuck his hand out to the girl. Come on let's do something fun I can't stand seeing you cry. I am Ash by the way. he said winking away a tear of her face. 

She hesitated but took his hand. He pulled her up with a bit too much force and the became in a hug position. after a view seconds, she pulled away and said.

I-I am S-Serena. With a little bit of a blush on her cheeks. 

Hey, Serena wanna play with these pokemon. The pokemon all looked at their direction with a smile.

Yea why n-not the blond girl said hesitating. 

That's the spirit.

After playing for a view hours they suddenly heard a crashing sound in the forest. 

They went to it quickly and what they saw left them in shock.

They saw a man halfway his 20's with a Nidoking beating up a Pikachu. 

Poison sting and then earth power Nidoking!! The man said. Let that useless piece of shit feel what happens when he puts me to shame. 

The poison sting hit the poor little Pikachu and just before Nidoking used earth power ash jumped out of the bushes and quickly grabbed the Pikachu out of harm's way. 

The Pikachu was barely conscious.

Serena saw something she has never seen before. She saw anger and hatred in somebody's eyes and not just someone's eyes it was Ash's.

he quickly gave Pikachu to Serena run back to the spot where the helpless Pikachu was just attacked.
