CHAPTER TWO: CHRISTMAS COLD
No way, it's Harry Styles
What was he doing back here? His bus was on the other side of the parking lot. I noticed he was still holding my ice cold hand and I sighed, pulling my hand away from his. I hated to pull away, but I knew it would mean much more to me than to him, anyways.
''I'm sorry, I guess I just forgot how long I've been out here.'' I said. My throat hurt a little. He stood up and hold out his hand, and it was rude to decline. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up, which made me a bit dizzy. I let go of his hand and fixed my clothes. I was only wearing a short sleeved white t-shirt with a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, matched with one of my favourite pair of sneakers. After the concert I had been so hot I didn't even thought that maybe I should put on a jacket. I was so smart. He looked at me from head to toe, totally checking me out. It was really dark outside and I was glad, because he didn't notice my cheeks were burning up. He smirked, probably knowing he was the reason I was uncomfortable.
''You're really cold. Come on, follow me.'' He wanted to turn around and start walking but I knew I couldn't accept his offer. I knew he wanted me to go to his bus and I shouldn't be there. I wasn't important enough to be there and he was only trying to show he was nice, right?
''No that really isn't necessary, I will just go back to my bus.'' I shook my head. He frowned. I knew he wasn't going to let me go to my tour bus easily. I wanted to follow him but I couldn't.
''Love, my bus has a lot more space. You can go back afterwards.'' He almost sounded desperate, which made me a bit confused. Why was he so interested in me? I was just the average girl. I wasn't that special.
''Harry I shouldn't. I have my own bus.'' I pointed towards the bus I had been sitting against. It wasn't that big but you would be surprised how many people could fit into that bus. I didn't have much space for my own, but I guess I shouldn't complain if you look at how much I earn. For being just a backstage kid I was earning quite some money.
''I insist, really. I'm not taking no for an answer.'' His voice was serious, but also a bit playful. We both knew if I really wanted to go to my bus, I would, but I knew somewhere deep down I wanted to go to his bus. I wasn't the girl who used the YOLO statement, but I also knew this situation probably wouldn't happen again.
I sighed. ''Fine.'' He smirked, enjoying his victory. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile. ''Good. Let's go.'' He grabbed my hand and I let him pull me forward. We started walking next to each other. He didn't let go of my hand, which was nice, really, but I didn't know what I should think of it. I was freezing cold, his warm hand almost burning my skin. We quickly crossed the private parking lot where all the buses were parked. We arrived at his bus not much later, which made me kind of nervous. Entering his tour bus would mean that the other boys, and maybe Simon, would be there. I would have to face them which made me really nervous. Yes, I work for them on a daily basis but that doesn't mean I ever had the courage to talk to them.
''Here we are, love.'' Harry smiled and opened the door for me. I took a deep breath and walked up the stairs which made me enter the tour bus. I could feel the warm air around me which was really pleasant and again, made me feel how cold I was. He was behind me in a second, closing the bus' door.
Immediately I heard someone running towards us, quick footsteps becoming closer.
''Harry, is that you?'' The Irish voice, which clearly belonged to the well-known Niall Horan, said. He stopped running when he saw Harry and I. The Irish lad sounded really happy, like a little kid finally waking up on Christmas morning. He was wearing a red Christmas-patterned Onesie, which looked adorable on the blonde One Direction singer.
