Apollo reacted instantly shooting an arrow to the ceiling which immediately burst into a shower of light and fluttered down. All the Olympian Gods flashed onto their thrones looking graceful and dignified.

"Why have you summoned the counsil Apollo?" Zeus questioned.

Apollo who had by now sat himself down on his own throne gestured to Annabeth. "I believe she has some important news."

"I found Percy Jackson... but not exactly." The throne room burst into chaos until Zeus summoned his master bolt and slammed it into the floor three times the noise echoing through the room. Everyone stopped.

"Explain."

"Well the other day Chiron, Jason and I were on our way to meet Posideon, Apollo and a bunch of Roman demigods in the city when we got a little lost. I went to ask directions from a man wearing an suit and sunglasses. He knew my name so I immediately was on guard and put my dagger at his throat. That's when he pushed away my dagger and took off his glasses so I could see his eyes. He yelled for Stark and told him something about their guy not showing up or something and for him to get in the car." She paused. "I tried to get him to stop and I really did but then he reminded me that we betrayed him and he said it with so much hate that shocked me." She shut her eyes for a moment before opening them up again. "I knew that Clint works with the Avengers so he would contact us as soon as he could but then Clint showed up at camp. He said that Percy told him..." so i'm too lazy to rewrite this and you already know what Percy said so."

There was a long silent pause until Artemis spoke up. "So he is with the Avengers, we must fetch him and try to understand what actually happened."

"But he's gone!" Annabeth cried.

There were multiple gasps and Ares scoffed, "Why I am not suprisied the little punk got kidnapped again."

"SHUT UP ARES!" echoed through the throne room as multiple Gods and Annabeth yelled at him.

"We should send a quest."

"Or send a team to help the Avengers."

Multiple suggestions were thrown out but those two a stood out the most. Zeus quickly slammed his thunderbolt again to bring order.

"We shall send a quest to find him and we shall send a separate group of people to help the Avengers find him." Zeus took a dramatic pause. Let's be honest it wouldn't be a proper counsil meeting if Zeus didn't make everything so dramatic. "Apollo and Artemis when you ride your chariots keep an eye out for him and Posideon keep an eye out if he steps into your domain and I will do the same."

Everyone was silent as for once Zeus actually made a good plan.

"But father who will be part of the group to help the Avengers?" Athena enquired.

Zeus nodded, "I was getting to that. I believe it would only seem fit if Annabeth was head of the group working with the Avengers and she can chose up to 4 other people to help her."

Annabeth smiled proudly at being appointed this position but her smile dropped as she remembered the reason. "I chose." she pondered for a minute, "I choose Hazel, Piper, Malcolm and Leo."

The gods approved her choices. "Now we need to decide who will go on the quest." Hermes spoke up.

"If I may." Annabeth started and Zeus motioned for her to continue. "I believe that Jason, Frank and Grover might be perfect for this quest."

"And why would that be?" Aphrodite questioned for once paying attention to something other than Ares who stopped flexing and stared in disbelief that she was actually interested in finding the little punk.

"Well they all have a special connection to Percy and they are all amazing friends. I mean Grover has been with Percy since he was 12 and Frank was the first person that Percy met and got close to when he had amnesia. Jason and Percy were kinda like co-leaders on the Argo II so they worked closely and they helped each other a lot. I would have suggested that Reyna goes on the quest as she might have picked up on some stuff when she was with Circe or from her Amazon sister Hylla however she is a praetor and I since I already recommended Frank who is the other praetor it would be unwise to remove both praetors from Camp Jupiter."

By the end of her mini speech half of the gods had zoned out but were mindlessly nodding their heads. Athena on the other hand was beaming at her daughter.

"You are truly my daughter Annabeth." Athena murmered.

Zeus slammed his master bolt against the floor once more to wake the daydreaming gods up. "So it is decided Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Hazel and Malcolm will go to the Avengers to assist them in their search while Jason, Frank and Grover will go on a quest to see if they find him first."

All the gods flashed out but Athena. She shrunk down to her normal size and stepped off her thrones and made her way to Annabeth. Athena gently hugged her daughter who immediately broke down again and she held her until her sobs disappeared. Still trembling, Annabeth pulled away and shakily said, "I'm sorry."

Athena looked confused, "For what my child?"

"I'm a disappointment." Annabeth choked out. "This is all my fault. It was my fault he left in the first place and now he's been kidnapped again."

Athena inwardly sighed. Human emotions were never really her strong point as she was always proud and never admitted defeat or showed weakness. But this was her daughter and it was her motherly instinct to comfort her. So she awkwardly patted Annabeth's hair.

"It's your fault, it's Posideon's fault, it's Zeus' fault, it's Chiron's fault. It's everyone's fault in some way" Athena paused. "Even mine. But we will get him back and we will make amends for our mistakes."

A/N here is your much wanted update guys and once again I'm so sorry for being a horrible person and making you wait this long for an update. I had this chapter ready but I went on holiday to an island called Sri Lanka for an month and I forgot to upload it before leaving. Every time I tried to upload it there it wouldn't work so here it is now.

IMPORTANT:
A lot of people have been asking about the pairing and this will not be a Percabeth story. There will be a pairing but it will be a secret until I decide to introduce my chosen couple.
