Just to let you guys know, this chapter is mostly a little insight to some of the characters backstory, so there might be a lot of rambling or speaking from one specific character. Just bare with me and I promise to make the next chapter more interesting! xD Thanks you guys!

I woke up the next morning to the sound of movement coming from the foot of the bed. It sounded as if someone was moving something around. Part of me hoped that I'd wake up in my own hotel room to find that the night before was all just some crazy, psychotic nightmare and that the noise at the foot of the bed was just the maid coming to ask if I needed more towels or something.
I slowly opened my eyes and then jumped back towards the headboard. The man who Tristan called "Mr. March" was sitting in a chair he had pulled up, just watching me while smoking a cigarette.
"You are a jumpy one, aren't you?" he grinned.
"What do you want from me?" I questioned as I watched every move he made very carefully.
"Nothing dear. I'm just making sure you stay right here." he replied. "Are you hungry? You slept right through breakfast!"
"I'm fine." I answered shortly.
"Well, you need to eat something!" he told me while he stood up and walked over to the door and opened it up, "Ms. Evers!"
Suddenly a woman with reddish brown hair who looked like a maid ran into the room.
"Ms. Evers, please get our guest something to eat. She's going to need to get her strength up!" he told her.
"Yes sir!" she smiled at him endearingly then scurried off.
In minutes she was back with a tray that had a sandwich, some celery, and some fruit juice on it. She laid it on the bed, gave me a quick smile and then ran off back into the hall. Mr. March shut the door and began to study me. He seemed slightly irritated.
"Why aren't you eating?" he spoke up in an agitated tone.
"I told you. I'm not hungry." I told him. "I don't feel very good."
"If you don't eat, you're going to be too weak for him to feed on you." he walked over to me and slid the tray closer. "And if you aren't of use to him when he gets back, he won't help me. So I suggest you eat before I make you."
The door to the room opened up once again and Tristan walked in. His hair was a mess and his clothes were stained red.
"How was my darling Countess today?"Mr. March asked, pretending that nothing had happened.
"Are you scaring her?" Tristan gave Mr. March a dirty look.
"She won't eat." Mr. March explained. "I wanted her to have some strength so she wouldn't pass out or die when you decided to feed on her."
"Well, relax. When she's hungry, she'll eat." Tristan told him. "Now you go. You're just freaking her out."
"Whatever you say." Mr. March said as he walked out the door.
Tristan began changing his clothes, not caring that I was sitting right there. He then slipped another pair of jeans on, but kept his shirt off.
"I bet you're pretty upset that I left you with him." he said as he walked over and sat on the bed. "I just didn't want you running off while I was gone with the Countess. She insisted we make a kill this morning, so I had to go with her so that she didn't get suspicious."
"You said you'd give me answers today." I changed the subject. "You said you'd tell me more about what you are and who this Countess lady is."
"You're right." he agreed. "Well, first off. The Countess is the one who turned me into what I am. She gave me what ever virus it is that causes us to be like we are. All I really know about her is she's been around for a very long time and she doesn't play around when it comes to love. If she turns you, you're suppose to be devoted to her and only her for the rest of your life until she says otherwise. She messes around with a lot of other guys, but she'd kill me if she knew I was even keeping another girl in my room. Even if we're not banging or anything."
"That's pretty weird." I replied.
"Yeah, you're telling me." he laid his head back on the pillow beside me. "Any other questions?"
"Why me?" I asked. "Why did you choose me?"
"Do you want me to be honest?" he raised a brow at me.
I nodded.
"Because you're hot." he grinned, "And because I could tell you that you needed me."
"How did I need you?" I looked at him like he was insane, which I was kind of convinced that he was.
"You looked like you hadn't slept in days and like you were all out of hope for yourself." he explained. "I figured, at least here you would have some company and a place to stay. I felt like I was kind of saving you while also giving myself something that I felt that I needed."
