"Splendid!!" Mr. March grinned. "Now we must figure out a way to make sure our plan in fool proof."
"I don't care how we do it, as long as I get to take her out." I told him.
"No. John must do the honors." he argued.
"I don't want to just sit back and watch." I stood up. "I want to actually have a part in this."
"Oh, you will. You and Tristan will both be a key part in her demise." he smiled with a crazy look in his eye. "A part that she will never forget."
"Tell me what you have in mind." I looked at him curiously.
He began telling the plan to us all. It seemed fool proof. We all agreed that we would take action as soon as the timing was right. It was Iris' job to make sure all possible exits were locked or blocked off, just in case she had somehow figured out about our plan. Liz had to make sure the Countess was in her room and then report back to us. We wanted Liz and Iris to both have the safest jobs. If we succeeded, we didn't want their parts in the whole revolt to be obvious so she wouldn't go after them. The rest of us had nothing to lose and we were all prepared.
When the time came, Iris, Tristan, and I went to check the exits while Liz checked on the Countess. Once we checked the exits, we had to go back up and tell everyone that we were ready to start.
"So what's your reason for wanting the Countess dead, Iris?" I asked as we road the elevator to the lobby to check the final exit doors.
"She took my son as one of her play toys." she replied. "I thought she was saving him...but she was really turning him more against me. He was so wrapped up in her that when Liz and I tried saving him, he saved her and died in the process."
"I'm sorry." I said in a sympathetic tone, "But we will make things right tonight."
"I'm looking forward to it." she smiled. "I just hope it works this time."
"It will." Tristan spoke up with a kind grin.
"Good." she nodded
The elevator stopped and Iris locked the lobby doors. She then gave the door a few tugs and turned to face us.
"Make me proud." Iris smirked, with a look I had never seen on her face before. I could tell she knew that we would not fail.
Tristan and I turned and walked back to the elevator. We reached the floor everyone was on and told them we were ready. They told us that Liz was safely in another room and had told them that the Countess was in her room, but would be leaving shortly.
"We must act quickly!" Mr. March reminded us all. "Stick with the plan at all time and this shall go over perfectly. So Tristan, Alexa, you two go up first. Once you are up, send the elevator down for John.
"You know we are dead too, right?" I raised a brow at him. "We can just appear, like you."
"Yes, but it is more dramatic if you do it the way we talked about." he rolled his eyes.
"Okay then." I laughed.
Tristan and I got into the elevator and pressed the floor that the Countess' room was on. We waited anxiously and then we felt the elevator stopped. I looked up to see that we had arrived on our floor. Tristan looked over at me.
"You ready?" he smiled and held out his hand.
I took his hand in mine, "I've been ready."The doors opened to reveal the Countess' doors in front of us. We sent the elevator down then approached the door. Tristan knocked on it loudly with hesitation. We began hearing the sound of high heels shoes hitting the floor as the Countess made her way to the door.
