Chapter 5 | Apology

Jay POV

I am going to say sorry, I am going to say sorry, I keep saying to myself, I turn to see Kylie, Jazmine and Scarlet all talking to each other.

I grab the note and flowers from my locker and walk towards them, my heart starts beating faster, my palms start shaking and I start to sweat. I didn't know and I found myself just staring at them hold shit in my hand.

"Um... Scarlet, can I talk to you for a sec." I ask.

"Ok, sure."

"Look Scarlet, I am really, really sorry for what I did, look I know it wasn't right, but I was a jerk, but I want to prove that I am not, by saying sorry to all the people I have hurt, starting with you, Scarlet, I am so very sorry, I am begging for your forgiveness."

"Jay, I don't know what to say, but, all I will say is yes, I except your apology."

"So we are cool."

"Yea, we cool." she says and I hand her the flowers and the note, we hug and we part our ways, when I turn around to check were she is, I see she is by Kylie and Jazmine, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest, maybe it has.

Jazmine POV

I saw Scar walk back with flowers and a note in her hand, once she finally was face to face she asked, "Can I come over today?"

I give her a nod and we continue on with our classes.

Once we arrive home I see Blake, Andrew and Jay talking but as soon as I enter he looks at me, it feels like time has stopped, after our moment ending I trot away to my room to avoid any further questions.

"Guys, I need to tell you something," Scarlet starts.

"What?" Kylie asks.

"I know you guys don't like Jay but I think he has changed, he apologized today, he even gave me flowers and a note to show how sorry he is."

Oh.. so that's why he gave her flowers and a note. She hands us the note to read it. It reads.

Dear Scarlet.
I would like to apologize about what I did to you, I know it wasn't right and I shouldn't have done it, I accept my mistake, so if you can find it in your heart please forgive me.

And she did forgive him and I think she did the right thing, the note was so sweet, and he actually was sorry. "Jazz, I think you should forgive him and say yes." Scar says, and I think she is right, I like him and he likes me, so I am going to say yes.

I run out of my room trying to find him, I move my head to look at the couch and I don't see see him, I look toward the kitchen and he isn't there either. I walk back to my room with a frown. Kylie and Scarlet notice I am sad and say, "Lets go for a swim." I nod and go to my closet facing down.

We go outside and take off our towels about to jump in, I notice Blake and Andrew but I don't see Jay, once again I am sad, I try to look for Kylie and Scarlet but they weren't there. they were in the water swimming and splashing water water at each other, they tried splashing water at me to but I just ignored them.

I drop my towel to the ground and walk over to the deep side, I dive in trying to live in the moment. I was deep in the water and I saw a figure approaching me.

I looking side to side and I see no legs under water, all I see is that figure, it comes closer until he is so close that he wraps his arm around my torso.

We both pop out of the water, my vision is blurry at first then I notice it's Jay, he was hugging me, his hands around my torso, when I realized that, I blush.

"Jazmine, I am so sorry, I even said sorry to her."

"Yes I know, and thank you for doing the right thing." I say and wrap my legs around his waist and my hands around his neck.

"Yes," is all I have to say top make him go under water, grab my thighs and push me up.

"What are you guys doing?"
Blake asks and as soon as he asks Jay pushes me on top of the water making my back hurt.

"Oh.. um.. she said something I don't like and.." Jay says

"What the fu-" I was cut off but Blake noticing my and Jays moment.

"Ok, whatever, I'm going to my room," Blake says and leaves.

"So, Jazmine, will you go on a date with me tomorrow."

"I would love to Jay," I say and he gives me a soft peck and we swim to the corner of the pool and climb out.

I try looking for Kylie and Scarlet, I look that my bedroom window and see them staring at us from my room.

While I am still trying of how I am going to hit them but I feel warm hand wrap around my tummy. I turn around to find Jay staring at Kylie and Scar and they leave. I give a confused look.

"You were shivering so I wrapped your towel around you," he says.

"Smooth move," I say raising an eyebrow.

"So you guys are going on a date tomorrow?" Kylie asks.

"Yea," I reply

"Guys I got to go," Scarlet says and leaves

"So," Kylie says, "what are you going to wear?"

"Oh fuck, I have nothing to wear."

"Just ask him where your going and decide."

"Your right I say and go to the living room to find him. I find him on the couch listen to music writing something on a piece of paper.

"Hey," I say

"Hi," he says and pulls his paper he was writing on behind the back.

"What is that?"

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing, it's just a bit private."

"Ok, forget that happened, anyways, were are we going tomorrow."

"Oh.. that I can't tell you."

"Ah really, then what am I going to wear?"

"Ok fine, I won't tell you but just don't wear anything fancy, just something casual."

"Ok," I say and walk away, how can he not tell me where we are going. Oh... it is a surprise.

I blush and get lost in the wonders of thinking what the surprise is.
