Chapter 7

Heart beat

Grayson pov~

"No she can't be, she isn't please please do something I beg you!" I cry but there was no use she was gone. "Get me the defibrillator now" yells the doctor as he throws Ayla's body over his shoulder and running to the hospital. Laying her on the bed my whole world began to spin this is all his fault, no it's mine all mine! I should have been there I should have protected her but no I let that asshole come near her and this is what happens. " Everyone get out of the room I need minimal people here at the moment I'm trying to work this all out" the doctor orders.

There were a few loud zaps when he put the pads onto her chest, her body rose with every bolt of electricity  but nothing. her heart didn't beat once, looking down at my feet reality crashed over us in a wave. Me, Ethan, Aaron and Blake sat next to Ayla's bed with tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes while she lays there motionless and cold.

A bright light filled the room blinding us all for a second. When everything cleared up a woman stood next to Ayla's bed with a sweet smile. "It wasn't her time you know... I'm not ready to give up my place just yet" she whispers. "Who are you and what do you mean" I say standing up. "Hello grayson" she smiles "im the one and only moongodess mother of all werewolves and your sister here is very special. She has been chosen to be the next in line For the moongodess, I am over 3000 years old and when Ayla passes she will be the new queen of werewolves. But I'm sad to say that it won't be yet, im not ready to pass the crown down to her just yet so if you don't mind will you please step back so you can have your sister back" she says politely.

Stepping back there was a flash of light that came out of her hands and landed onto Ayla's chest. The bright light spread through her body leaving little white trails And swirls. The Machine next to the bed started to beep again as her heart thumped loud and clear and her breathing evened out we all starred with opened mouths as tears began gliding freely down my cheeks. "Omg she is going to be ok" Emery said as the entered the room and wrapping Ayla's unconscious Body In to her arms. "I am sorry but I have to go I will see you all soon so behave my children" the queen said before disappearing.

An hour later The doctor came in with a satisfied look onto his face "she will wake up With in a couple hours but she will be sore and disorientated at first but in a week all the pain will be gone and she can get the 13 stitches out of her head" he said while checking her pulse and when the few other checkups were done I thanked the doctor as he left. I walk out of the room and into the waiting room of the pack house to see Alexander, his mate Elizabeth also Dolten and Emerys parents  and a few other pack members and some of Ayla's friends sitting down with worried expressions. "She is going to be ok guys!" There faces lit up
As they stand in a line to go have a look

Doltens pov~
I can't believe I believed Ella and not Ayla! How could I be so
Stupid. I'm so Angry at my self and the world for what has happened in her Past. All I want to do is scoop her up into my arms and apologise for everything Iv done. On the other hand I want to track down the guy who raped and beat her And  rip his head off. 

I lost my train of thought when My door slammed open as Emery made her way over to me, a stinging sensation made its way to my cheek, did I just get slapped?. "You fucking asshole" she yells
"What are you tal-" I was about to say before she cut over the top "don't you fucking talk to me when you mate is down In the hospital dead" she screamed "what the fuck are you talking about?"

She slams her fist into the wall beside my head. When you pushed her she was pushed that hard she flew into the wall and cracked her skull she has had to have 13 stitches and she didn't make it" her voice Brakes on the last couple words. "No your lying, you have to be?" I whisper but in my gut I know
She isn't. I felt like my body was on fire as I run down to the hospital "where is she" I gasp.
Alexander pointed me to the door on the far left. I see the moon goddess standing there in all her glory saying something I couldn't quite hear before light flashed into Ayla's still body. I see her chest move slowly up and down and I hear her heart beat pick up. My eyes fill with unshed tears as I give one last look at her and head out side to cool off before I go in and see her.
I let go the breadth I didn't know I was holding as I sit down and cradle my head in my arms as my tears soak my shirt.

She is alive and fine I whisper over and over, god this is not going to work I can't be a good mate, what if I hurt her again because I don't think I can handle seeing her in anymore pain. "WHAT AM I GOING TO DO" I yell into the air around me waiting for something, anything to show me what to do.
