We greeted Stef as we entered their house. His Mom greeted us with a big smile and his little brother, Aaron is as excited as his Big brother as if he's the one who is celebrating his birthday. Marc, Tom, Kim, other friends and family members, and I are present in Stef's Sixteenth birthday. His teeth are gleaming white as he smiled to each and everyone of us.

Tea and Cake was served by Stef to each and everyone of us. He received our gifts and congratulations as he served us our cake and tea. (In the Netherlands this is how we celebrate our birthdays). We have formed into a circle, and we all had a small talk as the cake is being eaten until it's gone. We had chippies, broodje knakworst (a hotdog in a bun) , brood met leverworst (bread and liver sausage), Brood met Oude Kaas (bread and old cheese) and Soup. After finishing all the food and after the other guests went home, We the boys went out to the town and had his birthday extension. I know that it is illegal for us to get drunk and get wasted but we had a few beers and God knows how we got all the booze we had right now. Our parents are not that strict on us, and we know what is right and wrong and all the consequences that we might face after doing what's wrong but we know what we are doing.

After knocking all the booze that we have, we had a spin the bottle game. Marc is the first one to be victimized by the bottle.

"Truth or Dare?" Tom asked.
"Dare." said Marc.
"Lick your elbows." Tom dared.
"Bro that is impossible!" Marc frowned.
We all laughed
"Come on try it." I said to Marc.
"Okay, I'll try." he replied.

He reached his elbows with his tongue as we all sat in awe and mesmerized by the sight of his achievement. Now it's Tom's turn.

"Kiss Stef." Marc dared to Tom.
Stef is laughing hard and he turned red as Tom reached for his lips. They kissed and then we all burst in jeers and laughs after they did it. Tom spat the saliva he got from the kiss and Stef did the same thing. We had a good time until the bonfire we lit is gone and it's already past 1 in the am so we decided to go home.

It's already 1:30 am and the night is dark and cold,Marc and I are riding our bikes back home when we decided to stop by a coffee shop to fend the cold that we felt. I am really drowsy from the drink and sleepy at the same time. I did not notice that Marc is asking me what would he order for me. I asked for an espresso and we went to a vacant table near a window. The stars are shining bright and the leaves swayed as the cold air blew.

"Sieger."

"Yes?"

"Look at the sky."

"uhuh?"

"Can you count those stars for me?"

"Yes, but It would take me a lifetime to count them for you."

"It would also take me a lifetime loving you, so as counting those stars."

He looked into my eyes and tightly held my hand.

"I love you." He said with his eyes meeting mine.

"I love you too."I answered.

"I wish you would not forget me someday." he said out of no where.

"Why would I forget you?"

He did not answer. He stared outside the window and then he stood and he took his jacket off and gave it to me. He gave me the look that we should go.

"Here, take this. To fight the cold."

"What about you? I should have brought mine."

"No, please take this. I would rather see you comfortable than me."

"Wow you're so nice! Mijn Dank!"

"Thank you too."

I stared into his eyes, a little bit puzzled I asked:

"Why?"

"Because of loving me."

"Thanks for loving me too, Marc."

It's already 2:30 in the am when I got home. Dad is already asleep and Ed is snoring in his room. I checked my phone for any texts from Marc and I saw Jessica's name appeared on my phone. I read her text message and it says:

"I still love you Sieg. God knows I do."

I did not reply. Maybe she's drunk or not sane because it's 2:30 in the morning. I changed into my sleep wear and then sleeped. Good thing is I don't have that much of work tomorrow that's why I can sleep 'til I want.
