chapter 23 - The other 'friend'

Ally's POV

After hearing that voice I immediately turned around only to be faced by a red head girl with thin lips, bright grey eyes wearing a black leather jacked with a pair of skinny jeans

At first I didn't know who she was ,but after a few seconds of staring at her appearance I finally realised who she exactly was .,....

Well let me tell you a little bit about her.... Well we were both in kinder garden together , back then we had our hair in pigtails , full rosy cheeks and not to forget the chocolate stains on our dresses

We were best friends, inseparable,  two peas in a pod , but mostly we were sister...
Until primary school as I can remember that summer I had my first ever crush on a guy named Joshua and of course I  immediately went to go tell her the news. Wrong mistake I ever made in my childhood.  Five days later in front of the whole class full of noisy kids my only sister betrayed me by announcing my secret to the whole class including Joshua.

After that we forgave each other like good friends, but that was not the only issues we had. As the years went by, Natasha became ruder, rebellious and started dating guys twice her age, only becoming bad news. She sat detention like it was her lifeline, but through all that I still stood by her side. Later on she started mixing with the wrong groups and that was the last straw.... The following summer she just went missing. Never saw her again until now....

But what surprised me about her at the moment is the red hair. Natasha used to have the most beautiful blond long healthy hair that matched perfectly with her bright grey eyes and now her hairs red

After the long stare .. My hands tightened around Jakes arm that I was holding only realising that if she's back after 3 years this means bad news. Someone doesn't just magically change and by the look she's giving  Jake at the moment made something in me spark,.. What was it ? And suddenly I realised I was getting jealous and very protective over Jake.

Finally she spoke breaking me away from my thoughts
" Ally... How's it been ? 3 years right .Wow a lot of things change. "
Natasha said with a sticky fake smile that I could easily see through

Smiling back at her and say " ya 3 years. A lot has changed"

Laughing slightly at my comment she moves over to where Jakes standing and puts her arm through his arm saying
" well .... ally how rude of you, introduce me to this hunk  over hear" Natasha says quite amused at my reaction to what she now just said

Dully I say " oh...this is Jake, my boyfriend, Jake this is Natasha an old friend"
Emphasising my words on ' my boyfriend ' to just indicate where she stands

After saying that Natasha reaches out her hand to Jake for a handshake. As Jake takes her hand in his she leans closer to him and says " Natasha nice to meet you "

Jake casually answers " you too"

Staring blankly at Jake for his answer she quickly says " so I have to go. See you around ally. and I hope to see you soon Jake" Natasha says winking at Jake before walking away.

After she left it felt as if a ton of bricks have been taken off my shoulder and I'm quite relieved that awkward situation is over. I must say not to be rude , but I hope I don't see her again.

Turning towards Jake I see his grinning from ear to eat
" what ? "

Slyly Jake says " you were so protective of me back there and I actually think my arms numb from you're tight grip on my arm." Jake says showing me his arm which apparently was red and had fingernail marks on it.

" ooh .... Sorry about that" I say sincerely with a heart stopping smile

After that awkward situation Jake and I went on a few rides and when we looked on our watches we were totally surprised it was 2:32 pm . Time really flies when having fun with friends and loved one's

On another note. How are we getting back in a house with wooden floor boards at almost  three in the morning without waking any one else
Now that's a challenge
