Chapter 22 - Friends and Festivals

Ally's POV

After receiving all the grocery bags full of food, both Jake and I walked down to the parking area with our hand completely full.
Arriving at the car , Jake placed the bags on the ground and starts searching for the keys in all his pockets or any possible place that he could have placed the keys in.

After about 5 minutes of just standing here Jake looks up to me and cluelessly asks me " Do you maybe have the keys?"

"Oh my.... Don't tell me you lost the KEYS?!?! I said sighing

As I said that Jakes eyes widened as he realised that, that's exactly what happened
Getting frustrated I say " I'm going to see if its maybe in the store"
When I said that I placed the bags on the ground before walking back to the store

After walking 3 times up and down all the aisles, I finally gave up and walked back to the parking lot.

When I walked over to Jake he was still searching and just as I neared him, the pulled his hand out of his back pocket only to reveal the car keys

'Seriously' I thought

After packing all the bags into the trunk. We drove back silently and quickly reached the house.
As we opened the front door to enter with all the grocery bags my brother's storm from upstairs kicking a rugby ball in the air while chasing and tackling each other and over all this chaos my mother is screaming at the top of her lunges telling the boys to go play outside

As we enter the kitchen we greet my mom and drop the bags on the counter and just as we are about to escape from the kitchen door my mother asks "and what is this?" as she raises 3 bags in the air full of sweets and chips

" well you see.... There was this old lady at the supermarket and she had red, red hair like Arial in little mermaid red hair and  had at least 12 children strolling behind her and this tiny girl asked this old lady for a candy bar and she said no .... And then it got me thinking and well here's sweets BYE MOM" I said as a quick replied and grabbed Jakes hand dragging him behind me as I ran out of the kitchen

When we reached the corridor I leaned against the wall placing both my hands on the knees trying to catch my breath as Jake said " seriously...... That was a lame excuse"

At Jake's reply both Jake and I burst out laughing

Later that afternoon both Jake and I was outside on the green lawn. While Jake was lying on his back and my head lying on his chest both of us looking up at the clouds not paying attention to our surroundings as suddenly I hear someone scream "Ally!!!!" and as i raise my head from Jakes chest i see my 3 best friends running towards us and looking at them i could see that they werent ganna be stopping, and just as I realised that they bom-dived us causing all of us to be squashed on the lawn

'Just perfect' I thought sarcastically
But I thought to soon because suddenly I heard all three of my brothers shout " Whoopy cushion" before landing straight onto of the heap of limps

After getting everyone off of us I introduced Jake to my best friends

" so Jake this is Cassie one of my crazy friends as you already noticed . Cassie -Jake" I said as I pointed to my best friend
