It was a simple, cold fall when it all began. The leaves glistened with the last of the rains. Over time they curled into an orange crispy brown and fell silently to the ground. It was on a Monday, and I knew just What this Monday would hold. Biting my lip softly, I watched the pictures dance across the television screen. I ladled the cereal on my spoon carefully into my mouth. Chewing slowly, I watched my mom and dad say their goodbyes and leave the house, leaving the structure vacant of any adult.

Immediately, I dashed forward, slowly slithering my upper half off the couch's side, attempting to reach for the controller to the PS3 without having to leave the couch. Grabbing it, I leaned back onto the large couch and stretched before turning on the controller to the console. Yawning, I turned my head to the right, peering around the corner into the small kitchen, where one of my cats were, eating some cat food. Narrowing my eyes, I looked to my left, seeing a huge cat tower to the left of a medium-sized window. With a sigh, I looked straight forward once again, and smiled, turning on YouTube. I scrolled left and right, searching the words 'PewDiePie' and clicking on a video I have not seen yet, which was 'Skate Pro - Part 3.'

Just as it started, I shrieked, "Wait! I need icecream!" I frantically fumbled around, pausing it quickly and literally leaping up onto the couch and jumping over the back, dashing into the kitchen, where I could still see the living room from. Opening the freezer, I puled out a small container of Barnie's Coffee IceCream. Grinning, I took pulled open a drawer after setting down the container, and got out the icecream scoop, closing the drawer after. Reaching up, I opened a cabinet, taking out a bowl as well, and set it onto the counter. I closed the cabinet and opened the lid to the container, scooping out around 5 scoops of Coffee IceCream. I washed off the icecream scoop, and put it in the dishwasher, quickly closing the lid to the container and putting it in the freezer. I took out a spoon from a drawer and quickly took a bite of the icecream. Picking up the bowl, I turned off the kitchen light and pounced onto the couch, sitting down with an 'oof' before clicking play.

While eating my icecream, I had just noticed I also had a half-filled bowl of cereal. I groaned, also seeing it was 8:20 a.m. and quickly went to the kitchen with both bowls and rinsing them out, putting them in the dishwasher with the two spoons. I walked back over to the living room, turning off the PS3, and cleaning everything up, making it look tidy like before.

I ran to the bathroom, flicking the light on and picking up a brush, brushing my hair. I took the toothbrush and applied some greenmint toothpaste, quickly brushing my teeth with accuracy for three minutes. Rinsing out my mouth with mouthwash, I washed out the sink and put the toothbrush back in the small vase-like container on the counter to the right of the sink. I looked at myself in the mirror and applied Beautiful Day perfume, before running back out. I flicked the light off right before I zoomed out to my bedroom to grab my black polo shirt and khaki pants, with black and white converse. I slipped on my outfit just before turning back around to grab my blue-string backpack and my white 3-inch binder. I took in a deep breath before grabbing my black and white key with a blue heart, and opening the door, and closing it behind me. I locked the door to my house.

Turning around, the sunshine hit me, and I gazed around at the colorful oak trees. I lived in a community, and I was living in a small department of many condos in a row. In front of me was a long parking lot, and beyond that was the dog park, and then a white fence separating us from the road. I turned to my left, walking into the road within the community and turned a right at the entrance to the place, slipping through a small gap in the fencing, trudging out to the left curb which was my bus stop. I put down my backpack, opening it and pulling out a white sheet before closing it once more.

On the white piece of paper was my bus number, and times for pick-up and drop-off. I sighed, seeing the time right now was 8:40 a.m. and the bus arrives in the morning at 8:50 a.m. in enough time to get the other two stops after me and arrive around 9:10 a.m. to the school. I took a deep breath, and put my backpack on my back, one strap on each shoulder. I folded the piece of paper and put it in my pocket. This was the start of a new school-year..
