No one's POV

It was about a month after the Percy Jackson incident. The avengers didn't think a lot about the boy who they found in the graveyard anymore, the life of a superhero was hectic and full of shenanigans. Some information just got deleted.

That was until they suddenly got a letter delivered to Stark Tower, this was weird because they usually only got electronic messages. What was even weirder was that the sender was P.J, witch obviously stood for Percy Jackson.

The avengers were eager to open it and when they did they saw a handwritten  letter, the edges looked like they had been a little wet. Maybe he wrote it in the rain or on a beach? They opened the letter and let Bruce read it aloud for them:

Dear avengers,

I'm sorry for how I acted when I was with you, I acted a lot on impulse and didn't think about my actions. Please understand that I just went trough a very rough time, and I'm not ready to be back in the hero game again. I appreciate what you guys do but I'm not quite ready to do it myself.
I don't want to go down that rabbit hole again.

I've bought another cabin near the coast and now I give surfing and diving lessons, maybe you can come visit sometimes?

The avengers just stood there for a minute, God they had been utter idiots to try and force someone to be a hero.
After a quick discussion they decided that they wouldn't show the letter to Fury.

After that life went back to normal, because sometimes normal is the best you can get.

Some people asked me for closure because my ending was a pretty big cliffhanger, but I still don't think that with the fatal flaw Loyalty Percy would be able to go back into the hero life. I think he would just want to live peacefully.
But of course you can disagree.
