'colder than ice' of course one being the daughter of a loyal dark lord servant plus a famous mass murder. Clearly It wasn't much a shock when the hat was placed upon Elizabeth head to be called
A Slytherin.

Alongside Alexandra who both went through the same scenario, and Elizabeth never thought or cared if her beloved fathers is proud or not since she was placed in a different house than him.
But she cared about her mother.

Then you have the times where others find them your average Slytherins, for if they talked it would be for necessarily moment like with professors, etc.
To student they would be mouthed bad things harsh, cold, and rude, that if they actually talked.

In reality where they like to keep to themselves both girls add to before are smart, daring, brash, and many other.

At the age of one after her mother died protecting her with an unborn baby in her stomach, she had been given to the care of the Lightwoods, Mary Aka Alexandra mother was her godmother, and they were a good family who at her age of seven the parents died of a car accident leaving Alexandra and her twin plus Elizabeth to live in an Orphanage, where they have been called names and such, they hold it together untill another tragedy happened involving the Lightwood male twin death, everything went fast from their personality to their leftover hope of life.

First day at Hogwarts scared the shit out of everyone as Elizabeth Black name had been called for the sorting many gasped and many choked that reaction made Elizabeth glare with so much venoms her icey blue eyes that sends shivers down everyone spine made them regret their actions.

And the innocent smile that was mixed with a hint of a sweetness to the professores and the headmaster after the hat had made it decision, though it took sometime for Elizabeth to master it, and for them to think she is up to no good!, honestly, she's offended.    

Her eyes soften at the sight of Alexandra who took her place at the end of the Slytherin table facing the headmaster and the professores while her back was given to the wall.

Living to her surname Elizabeth tried as many possible to scare off other
student who tries to annoy them just to look like a tough suck-up afraid of nothing prick.
Who ends-up in the hospital wing for a few days with a broken, rips, hand, and hopefully if it happens again leg.

But then a lot of them didn't stay away because both were the best looking girls in their year.
