Chapter 23~the letter

After my performance I finished up and headed out back to my house

I crashed at 4:30 a.m but I showed did was making that paper thoe ha!

I got bags full of money,but that's my college money.Stripping isn't what ima do all my entire life but it's something to get me by.but I still love it

*the next morning

"I am ready for love"

"Why are you hiding from me"

"I quickly give my freedom"

I reached over to grab my phone as it sanged India Arie

"Hello?" I answered in my sleepy voice

"Ugh you sound like a man" sage was on the phone

"Uhhhhhhh" I groaned

"Get up lil ma!" he yelled

"For what?...." I caught an attitude

"I got a surprise for you." he replied

"Can't you being the surprise to me?" I asked

"No now hurry up and get dressed.ill be there in about 2 hours to come get you" he said then hanged up the phone without letting me answer.

I honestly just went to bed 4 hours ago and now I'm up on my feet again

The clock just turned 9:00 and I was showering, doing my hygiene,putting on my make up,doing hair and making some breakfast.

About an hour later I was ready and to go

I had on a all black sundress,a pair of silver dazzled sandals, my hair was in a sleek and high bun with my baby hair smoothed perfectly put on my skin.

I had on some big silver pearls,an old Gold chain necklace and a big 12 carrot diamond ring.

Big money pays off.

Just as I was locking my door, sage was pulling up in the parking lot in his all grey phantom,blasting to some zero.

Ghetto crazy ass.

I walked down stairs and headed to his car.He pulled out a big roll of white flowers and I swear I was in awe.

"What is all of this?" I asked

"It's a surprise Imani" he smiled

The phantom doors swinged up.

I got in the car holding the roses in my hand

I kept asking him where is he taking me but he just kept giving me blank answers.

It was half an hour drive and I honestly felt like I was going to strangle the hell out of him if he don't tell me.

We pulled up to a big opening field

"Where are we?" I asked as I got out

"Follow me" he took me by the hand

We walked through the hot,sunny field and there was a little picnic right ahead of us.

"I just wanted to spend the day with you, you told me before that you would love a man to just take his time out of the day to cater to you and since I have free time and I have no football practice I decided to this for you" he walked me to the table and we sat down

There was a lot of food.Chicken pacasa, Mac & cheese, meatloaf, green beans, rolls,etc.

I was hungry as hell too.
