"You want what?," Mrs. Dodson asked.

"I-I just thought that maybe I could figure out who killed Krissy," I said. "I know everything about her and the police or any investors seem to not get very far. Maybe, I might actually find out something different." Mr. Dodson sighed.

"I don't know, sweetie," He said. "Yes, you did know her very well and you are very smart, but this isn't easy."

"I know," I said. "Due to the police having an interest in me. I can't leave town until they find her killer."

"Did they tell you that," Mrs. Dodson said. I nodded.

"I get it," I said. "They are just doing their job, so I thought I could help." Mr. Dodson sighed again and looked to his wife. Mrs. Dodson nodded to him. She got up from her chair and went to her home office. She came back fairly quickly. She had a couple files and a couple evidence bags.

"This is everything," She said. "Well it is everything that got back from the police." I nodded. I got up and gave them both a hug.

"If it gets to be too much, I understand if you want to quit," Mr. Dodson said.

"Krissy's killer has been running loose for a year now," I said. "I won't quit until I find them." They both smiled at me. Mrs. Dodson gave me the stuff and I went on my way.

Since my family and I are staying in town for a while, we are renting out a house that is closer in town. My dad and brother have gone back home to get some more things we need. My mom is talking my old high school to see if I can transfer for a while. So, for today, I am by myself.

After I got home, I texted Danny that I got the stuff. He was on his way over. While I waited for him, I opened the first file. The file was filled with police reports and clues that they had found. After I turned a page, there was a picture of Krissy's body. I gasped a little and started to tear up. The doorbell rang a few moments later. I went to the door and opened it.

"What's wrong," Danny asked.

"I didn't know they would have pictures," I said and sniffled. He came in and gave me a hug.

"Come on," He said. I closed and locked the front door behind him. He took all the pictures in all of the files and put them in the back of one of them.

"They actually gave you all of this," He said. I nodded.

"This is everything they got back from the police," I said. He nodded.

"What have you looked through," He asked.

"I read the first three pages of this one," I said and picked up the file. He nodded.

"Keep reading," He said. "I will order us some pizza." I nodded. I sat on the couch beside all the files.

He walked out and I kept reading. Everything that I read, I already knew. They found a couple finger prints that they couldn't match. They tried so many people. The weapon used to kill her was a hockey stick. It was Diamian's from when he was a kid. He had it in his room. He was cleared from not being the murder because he had a video of himself doing some weird stunt before it happened. It even caught the girl who found Krissy's body screaming. After that, it stopped.

I turned the page over and they had a picture of the murder weapon cleaned off. Something didn't look right. I kept looking at the image to try and find what was wrong with it. Danny came back in a few minutes later.

"Whatcha thinkin about?," He asked and sat beside me.

"Do you see something weird with this?," I asked.

"Here," Danny said. He got on his phone and brought up a picture of him and Diamian playing in the jr. hockey league.

"The stripe is too short," I said. "Does the stripe mean anything?"

"Actually yeah," He said. "The shorter the stripe is from the top of the stick, the more advanced you are."

"So what rank would that stick be in," I asked.

"I think it would be the senior team," He said. "I know how to find out though. Do you have a year book?" I shook my head no.

"They're all back home," I said.

"Ok," He said. "I'll text Diamian." I nodded. He texted Diamian and the pizza arrived. Danny started eating while I looked through files. He turned on the tv too.

"Put it down and take a break," He said. "Diamian is coming soon."

"I am fine right now," I said. "Thank you though." I flipped a page in the file and kept reading.

"Harley, at least have-" Danny was interrupted by the door bell ringing.

"That was quick," I mumbled. I got up from the couch and opened the door to find Diamian, Blake and Jojo.

"Hey," Jojo said. I gave each of them a hug and invited them in. Jojo was quick to find the pizza, of course. That girl could eat all day, but not gain a pound.

"What are you guys doing?," Diaimian asked.

"Do you have the yearbook?," I asked. He nodded and Blake took it out of her purse. She handed it to me. I thanked her and sat back on the couch where I was previously.

"I brought last years and the year before because they were easy to get to," He said.

"Woah, Hold the front door," Jojo said. "This is Krissy's file." I flipped through the pages trying to find the hockey section.

"What are you doing with this stuff?," Diamian said.

"Who gave you all of this ?," Blake asked and sat on the corner of the coffee table.

"Krissy's parents gave Harley the permission to have it," Danny said. "We are going to try and solve Krissy's murder." I found the hockey section and put the picture of the weapon beside the pages, so it was easier to compare the weapon to the other sticks.

"This is not how you were supposed to ask her out, Danny," Jojo said. "You're first date should've been a cute picnic or a movie then ice cream. Not solving a murder case."

"I am not going there right now," He said. They kept talking, but I was concentrated and blocking them out. As I went through the many pictures of the hockey games and teams, I found it. Well sort of. The stick would belong to a senior player. I went to the page of the senior page and looked through the players. After reading the names, no one caught my eye, but a light bulb went off in my head. I grabbed the other year book and opened it to the senior hockey team group picture.

One name caught my eye.

"What is it?," Blake asked. Danny put a hand on my back and looked at the yearbook. I pointed to the name.

"Who?," Jojo asked timidly.

"Kameron Dodson."
