"ANNABETH!" Yelled Percy as she fell to the ground, with a bloody knife sticking out of her chest. She had took a knife for Percy. A knife meant for Percy. Not her. He slashed the giant, Polybotes, and with a deafening roar, the last giant will gone, now spending years in Tartarus. He bended down to his knees and grabbed a bag of ambrosia. He ripped it open and snatched a piece of ambrosia out of the bag. Be stuffed in Annabeth's mouth and put her jaws together to chew it. Will came out of the silent crowd surrounding Annabeth and Percy.  "The damage is too much. Ambrosia wont help." He said sadly. "NO IT'S NOT!" Roared Percy as he glared at him.. His face must've been scary, because Will walked two steps back. Annabeth's closed eyelids fluttered open as she said her last words. "I love you," she said, smiling. She put her hand on Percy's cheek. "Seaweed Brain." She whispered. Then she broke their promise. Her eyes closed as her last breath came out and her pulse stopped.                                                                                                      Something horrible happened that day.                                                                                                                     Annabeth had died.

He watched, now with scarred eyes, his girlfriend die. His face turned expressionless. Then he realized what had just happened in front of him. I felt a pang in my chest as I realized that his girlfriend just died.I felt like there were knives were peeling off his skin. He grabbed her orange Camp Half Blood shirt and pulled her tight to him. "I thought you promised me. Why do you have to leave me?" A tear slowly slid down his cheek, followed by a stream of tears. The demigods and gods left the battlefield, and Percy knew he saw Athena- but she had a river of tears going down the god's cheeks instead of the brave face ready to make a plan. Now the only people there was Percy And Annabeth. He held her T-Shirt close to him as he cried, not knowing what his future was without her.                                                                                                                                    He was broken.

Percy's eyes shot open. He felt plush pillows beneath his head. Hmm... This isn't  where I was. Thought Percy .It took a few seconds to remember what happened yesterday. He closed his eyes and wished, just take me here Hades. I really don't care. He snapped open his eyes while his sane side of his body said get up and do something! But his sad, lonely, insane self  said SULK! SULK!  He sighed and literally rolled out of bed. He didn't bother to brush his teeth, nor take a shower. He strolled out of the cabin and walked to the Sword Fighting Arena to penetrate some dummies. His vision got blurry, and he staggered. He heard a few people saying "Percy!", but they sounded far away. He looked around to see people surrounding him and Chiron galloping toward him. He looked up and spoke barely audible whisper.                                                 "I'm broken."
