Drakon

The sun glared on our backs, warming my shivering body. The gate stood before us, cold and protecting the horrors within the forest behind it. I stood by Naruto, glancing at him every now and then.

He had thankfully passed the first test of the chunin exams and I was still a bit wary of Kabuto. Feeling eyes on me, I turned and locked sight with a group from the hidden stone. One of their ninjas in particular glared at me hungrily.

Flashback

"Hey you, what's your name?!" Sasuke inquired the red headed sand ninja.
'Don't ask for his fucking name Baka' I thought, mentally face palming. The guy turned around as the girl stupidly asked whether he was asking her.

"Gaara of the sand. I'm interested in your name" he replied.
"Sasuke Uchiha" suddenly Naruto popped in between them like an excited puppy.

"Hey I bet you wanna know my name" he exclaimed. But they were already walking away.

-time skip-

We climbed the many stairs, I was counting them for some reason, maybe to calm my nerves. As we got to the second floor, we saw Izumo and Kotetsu in miniature guarding the door to room 201, but the sign said 301.

I rolled my eyes and grumbled about this wasting my time. I suddenly spotted Lee, stopping two people kick each other with his bare hands. A Hyūga suddenly came over to him, hissing about keeping a low profile. He was followed by a brown haired girl, in a pink top.

Lee suddenly spotted Sakura.
"Hi my name is Rock Lee. Please be my girlfriend and I will protect you with my life" he proclaimed.
"Awe that's so cute c'mon Sakura, be his girlfriend" I told her.
"No" she said, sending Lee to become more determined.

Like all boys, wanting to show off, Sasugay and Lee both had a fighting match where guy sensei showed up, and with a big ass turtle.

The actual written test wasn't that hard. It was the level of math and algebra and statistics that I took in high school. So I didn't have to cheat. I was sitting beside Gaara though and he kept on staring at me, which was quite distracting.

Flashback end

As a Kunai flew past, Anko started to shout at us about the next exam. A moment later, the Kunai was being held in front of Narutos face by a long pink, slimy thing that sent shivers up my spine.

"I'm just giving the Kunai back. That action sent my adrenaline pumping" the ninja replied, placing the blade in Ankos hand. His or her voice was smooth and evil, like a snakes. On closer inspection (s)he had sharp canines like me.

I didn't get to inspect further as Sakura dragged Naruto and I behind the curtain to collect our scroll. We made a big show of giving it to Sasuke but instead I slipped it into Sakuras pocket, winking at her in the process.

It wasn't until we were in front of the gates that my nerves started to kick in. I felt that this wasn't going to end well. With those stone nins watching us aswell as that woman/man we were an easy target. The gates burst open and the exam began.

We had five days to collect a heaven scroll and get back to the building in the middle of the forest. The atmosphere was clam, well as calm as an evil forest can get.

It wasn't until Naruto needed the bathroom that things got interesting. He came back, pulling the zipper up as he went.
"Ah I feel better. Let's keep go-oof" he said as I pushed him to the ground and straddled his hips.
"where's Naruto?" I shouted at him.
"Naruto wears his Kunai pouch on the right yours is on the left so where is he" I growled again, tighteningy grip on his clothes.
