((( woah i do not deserve your guys' patience :'0  please forgive me for being on a hiatus )))

He bore a wide smile, taking a step closer to you. He slowly wiped his hand across the hood of the golf cart, still smiling and looked up.

The staring dragged on between your group and him until you spoke up.

"B-Bill?"

"Why who else? Its a rather nice evening don't you think?"

Dipper wore a suspicious look and bluntly asked, "So are you from a private school or something? With that mannered gesture and stuff? Kinda odd."

Bill knitted his eyebrows and tightened his smile, annoyed by the questions.

"Something like that, er-"

"Dipper", Dipper hotly said.

"Right, right, aren't you a nephew of that old Pines person? I wouldn't surely think he's the real deal."

"He's real enough to deal with anything, Bill", Mabel added.

Her cheeks flushed red and turned to you to say something.

Wow, now he's really seeming to act like an ass, you thought.

As soon as you have thought of that, Bill gave you a concerned look.

Did I say that out loud?, you wondered, feeling now uncomfortable with this situation.

Bill closed his eyes briefly, running his hand through his crisp hair and opened them again to state, "It was nice running into you guys, but until next time..."

He walked away to the corner of the street, out of sight.

You head to the intersection and do not see any sight of him. Nothing but a dark street was visible in front of your eyes.

"(Y/N), let's go!", Mabel called out.

(Bill's POV)

Pine Tree was definitely on to me. He saw the way I acted, and how I would so often lie through my teeth. This feud was bitter.

It was easier for me to gain the two's trust. Mabel and that girl, (Y/N).

Mabel would eventually lose trust in me, it was a for sure prediction.

I couldn't read (Y/N). She seemed smart, she seemed to be any average human girl.

What was it? Why was she his last choice?

Unbelievable. I need to get that book. That third stupid journal that Stanford made. That four eyes knew too much, and it was my fault. This town full of stupid people also know too much. They know they live with the supernatural.

(Y/N) was new.

So was Drake.

Those two...

They didn't know enough.
