(Your POV)

I gasped at the sight in front of me. Drake. My friend's snarky brother. I glared at him as Dr. Valentino spoke.

"Now (Y/N), I strongly assume you know Drake. Your parents want you to be a advanced scholar like him you know", he said with a wink.

I rolled my eyes and turned to the door.

"Im leaving, I can not deal with this righ-", I stated before interrupted by Drake, "Hey now (Y/N) I know you hate me as much as my sis does but this is VERY important!"

I stopped before reaching for the door handle and listened.

"This unknown seeming town of Oregon has many mysteries that I am studying right now! So far, I've discovered this!"

He handed me a dusty book with a golden hand and gold edges. I looked more closely seeing it says 3 on the hand, which is six fingered, and pages and a monocle stick out from the sides of the book. I do a slight awe as i flip through the pages of well drawn sketches of horrifying monsters and scribbled notes. One page, however, caught my attention. It was a wheel of symbols with a triangle in the middle with one eye, a top hat, and bow tie. I snickered a bit realizing how ridiculously equal it looked to the illuminati. Drake saw me snickering and snatched the book.

"Oh no. Don't you laugh at that guy. He is freaking dangerous! Never I repeat, never make a deal with him. I've only know that from the notes but its better to be safe than sorry."

I then asked, "Who is he?"

"Bill Cipher. A dream demon. Like I said, don't deal with him, just run."

Dr. Valentino patted my shoulder and said, "Come along now, we have much to attend to. Your friends are waiting for you."

I walked out with Dr. Valentino and waved at Dipper and Mabel.

"Hey guys! How's the cat?"

Dipper smiled and replied, "Doing good. He's getting better now!"

Mabel skipped to the door and yelled, "Come on guys! Let's go back to the Mystery Shack and make some Found Cat posters!"

We hurried after her with the cat in my arms once again. We hopped into the golf cart and sped off down the road. This time, Dipper was less vigorous at driving and more to mellow and survivable. I petted the cat and brushed its fur with my fingers. It purred and Mabel petted it as well.

"Don't worry cat, we'll find your owner soon!", Mabel assured.

"If the cat has an owner...", Dipper sighed.

"Dipper!", Mabel yelled at him.

"Well we can't rely on optimistic views that support 50/50 hope when we have to look at the other possibility", Dipper quoted.

Mabel did a "hmph!" and crossed her arms. The golf cart stopped and we were in front of the Mystery Shack. I gently got out and walked to the door alongside Dipper with Mabel behind us. Dipper opened the door and we entered to see Grunkle Stan talking to a red head teen girl with a corduroy green flannel and ushanka.

"Oh hey Grunkle Stan, we're back! Who's that?", Dipper said.

Grunkle Stan turned around and introduced us to her. "She's Wendy. She's one of my employees that you kids didn't have time for to meet."

Dipper looked to the side and whistled guiltily. "Im sorry I did not meet you sooner! I am... Um... Mabel?", Dipper said with a nervous glance.

Mabel jumped in to save her brother's social awkwardness and said, "Ha! Im sorry about my bro bro, he is paranoid over EVERYTHING! Im Mabel, he's Dipper, and she's (Y/N)! It's nice to meet you!"

Wendy gave a little laugh and said, "It's cool to meet you too! Although I'm not the only employee here at Mr. Pines' Mystery Shack, I'll have to show you Soos! C'mon on!"

She ran down the hall with me, Mabel, and Dipper following. We came up to this guy with a brown cap, and a dark drab green question mark t-shirt. "Oh hey there Wendy! Who are these fellas with ya?", he asked as he was packing tools in a box.

"They're Dipper, Mabel, and (Y/N)! Guys, meet Soos!", Wendy excalimed.

"Heya there! We could totally do rad things like exploding stuff!"

We stared at him if he was serious and he continued, "Ahahaha, I'm just kidding dudes, don't worry! But seriously we could."

We gave a light laugh and I said, "Alright then Soos and Wendy, me, Dipper, and Mabel are going to make posters for this lil cat here!" I held the cat up and Wendy and Soos awed. "What a cute little guy eh Wendy?", Soos said. Wendy nodded and petted the cat on the head before I ran off to the living room. I placed the cat down on the carpet and went to look for pencils and paper. "Stay here, okay? I'll be back! Dipper and Mabel, can you guys watch the cat for me?"

They nodded and Mabel said, "No problem! Easy peasy lemon squeezy wheezy cheesy!"

I found the materials I needed and walked back in the living room. I found the cat looking up at the shelf meowing at something. I placed the stuff on the table and walked to where the cat was. Dipper and Mabel weren't in the room. Strange. I held my breath as I picked up the item the cat had a particular interest in.

It was that golden bracelet that I was going to look at. I sat on the couch and the cat jumped onto my lap as I studied the bracelet. Triangles... Lots of them, carved in. Then I turned rotated the bracelet and found this name engraved in : Cipher .

Nope. I throw the bracelet across the room letting it hit the wall and graze it. As the cat ran to it and pawed it, I started thinking. Cipher. Isn't that the triangle dream demon's name? Coincidence? Im so not sure. But I have to beware of it. Or should I take it? It's beautiful and unresistible no doubt but I have to avoid that guy. Wait, Drake told me that, he's probably messing with me. Who can trust that guy? I mean come on, he replaced my ice cream with frozen mayonnaise. Screw it, I will wear that bracelet, not even gonna tell him about it.

I walked towards the bracelet and picked it up, sliding it on my wrist. I swear I saw a glow or gleam of light when I put it on. Maybe it's one of those glow in the dark bracelets. Sure its pure gold from its fine texture but there's a possibility. The cat rubbed against my leg purring with joy. I guess this was a sign.

I then realized something, that maybe the bracelet indicates to be the cat's owner.

"Hey little cat, does this belong to your owner? Do you know where I can find them?", I asked bending down to pet the cat.

I know, its ridiculous to ask a animal, incapable of speech where they came from. The cat meowed and went to the lay in the bed Mabel made for him.

"Okay then never mind, I'll just figure it out."

Dipper and Mabel came through the front door, and Mabel spoke, "Oh hey (Y/N)! We're sorry that we didn't watch the cat! We just ran into some 'trouble'."

I raised my brow and questioned, "What 'trouble'?"

"There's this kid named Gideon Gleeful or something who keeps demanding that he should own the Mystery Shack and other stuff", Dipper said. "But he's practically harmless apparently", Dipper continued waving his hand.

I said, "Well that's ok I guess, just don't leave the cat alone again okay guys?"

"Why what happened?", Mabel asked concerned.

"Ah, nothing really, but I did find this cool bracelet!", I said showing my arm to them.

"You found that in the shack?", Dipper said, gaping at the bracelet.

I told them what had happened except for the part of bewaring of Bill Cipher.

"Sounds mysterious, but you could be right, maybe the bracelet connects to the cat's owner!", Dipper considered.

We got to work by drawing the poster and to take a picture of the cat. By the time we were finished, nighttime had already fallen. Wendy and Soos headed to their homes and gave us a goodbye before we went to prepare to go to sleep. We brushed out teeth and changed to pajamas, and finally prepared our beds to sleep for the night. Grunkle Stan called out a goodnight and we went to sleep. Dreaming.
