(Your POV)

I decided to drive us home. We were all exhausted but I often stay up longer than the norm. I drive down the road smoothly when Mabel yells.

I immediately swerve the golf cart to the side hitting against a tree.

"Mabel! What's wrong?!"

She looks at me and then the road and I see I have almost hit a squirrel.

"Phew, good thing you didn't hit that squirrel over there!", she gasped finally.

I nod slowly with a mhm, and start the golf cart. It takes a bit of a long time but I manage to roll it out from the side of the tree. I turn my head to look if there was anybody or anything around and I spot a triangle shape dent scratched upon the tree I crashed into. I grimace and then ignore it and drive away.

#############

We arrived to the shack, or now that we call home, at 6:53. I parked the golf cart a little farther from its usual spot so Grunkle Stan won't have a good look at it and see how we initially damaged it.

We enter the shack to see Grunkle Stan sitting in his armchair watching tv.

"Oh hey kids", he murmurs. "Wait? Kids? Where were you?!", Stan exclaimed with realization.

Dipper bites his bottom lip, then speaks up.

"Uh... Well, Grunkle Stan... I'm sorry I forgot to tell you in the morning that... We went out handing out flyers for the cat..."

He stares at us and then says, "About time, that cat has been scratching up everything! Even my glasses!"

Mabel looks closer at his glasses and pokes them saying, "Boop!"

Grunkle Stan rubs his glasses and say, "Kids, just take the cat up to your room."

I pick up the cat gently from the floor in the kitchen, Mabel grabs the bed, and Dipper grabs a phone to put in our room, in case the desk lady calls.

Mabel sets the bed down and the cat immediately stretches out, and plops its body on it.

I pet the purring cat and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and change clothes.

(No ones POV)

You pull down your pajama over your head when you hear a loud clink. You look down but nothing was there. Then you remember the bracelet and pull the sleeves on your pajama to see your wrist with no golden ring around it.

"Damn it", you whisper to yourself as you go on your hands and knees swiping around the floor.

Nothing.

You hear a knock on the door and hear Dipper's voice.

"Hey (Y/N), you done in there?"

"Nope, just a sec!", you yell.

You cuss again under your breath as you struggle to reach under the sink, then bathtub.

You sigh and unlock the door, exiting the bathroom with no gain.

You head to the room where the Egyptian cat lays. You smile thinking of how much progress in healing the cat has made.

Mabel is busy petting the cat so you head to bed ready to pass out.

"Goodnight", you say out loud for the whole shack to hear.

You hear a few replies back and that moment your eyes descend and your mind is relaxing.

################

(Dipper's POV)

I lazily wake up and see its 5:49. Not as early in the morning as I have hoped, but it's enough time to get what I need.

I place my legs over the side of the bed and yawn. I grab my blue pine tree hat and vest, putting them on, and head out of the shack quietly.

I finally am a step out of the shack and haven't woken anyone. I then turn and head to the misty woods, running.

################

(Mabel's POV)

My eyes shoot open hearing a sound in the shack. I look over the Dipper's bed and see he's not in it. I frown.

He just can't go and tell me he's wandering off stalking this town, huh?

That's more of the reason to follow him then!

I fast walk out and down the stairs and creak the door open seeing it's foggy. It's going to be hard to find him.

((A/N: SO I tried this different POV thing. I quite like it and I want your opinions on this story so far!))
