"All right, what should we do?" Brooks asked, as all of us stood in a circle

"Ooh let's play never have I ever!" Max said climbing a tree

We all agreed and climbed the tree, me sitting on the ground, since ya know my arm.

"Ok Never have I ever.. cursed around an adult!"

"I've never done that, I would get in SO much trouble" I said laughing

"I have" Harvey said sitting on the branch laughing

"Did you get in trouble?" Romeo asked looking up At Harvey

"Nah, I didn't even know it was a curse word" he said climbing to another branch

"Guys where's Cruz?" I asked looking around

"Oh crap where did he go?" Romeo said getting up

I got up and walked to the other side of the park, and saw Cruz talking to a girl that looked his age

I signalled the boys to come over where I was and they ran, laughing when they saw Cruz

We hid behind a big rock and right when Cruz was putting his number in the girls phone, I ran out from behind the rock and yelled
"ooh get it Cruz get it!"

The boys burst out laughing while Cruz blushed and laughed, while the girl looked embarrassed and giggled

We walked back to the tree and saw it was already 6:53 pm

"Oh guys we gotta go" Romeo said looking at me and going to go get cruz

"Hey Ellie you should hang out with us more" max said

"Yeah I had fun" I said happily

"Guys let's make a Groupchat with all of us in it" brooks said getting his phone

I was putting my number in Harvey's phone when Romeo came over looking at Harvey weirdly

"Ok uh see ya later guys" Romeo said grabbing my hand and walking away from the guys, with Cruz on his other side

"Are you ok?" I asked him

"Why were you giving Harvey your number?" Romeo asked looking ahead and not making eye contact

"Are you jealous?" I laughed

"No" he said looking at the ground

"There's nothing to be jealous about, I was putting my number in Harvey's phone because we were making a Groupchat for all of us, and besides your the only guy I like" I said smiling

He looked at me and smiled

"Ok im sorry I was jealous" he said blushing

"It's ok" I said laughing

I gave Cruz a piggyback ride and we walked into their house to see Brooklyn asleep with 4 ice cream cartons around him
