PERRI'S POV
Percy and his friends all explained the world of the gods and the lifestyle at Camp, which included camp fire, burnt sacrifices, curfew, claiming, and the Cabins. To me, Camp sounds like a boot Camp. But they speak about it so happily, it makes me WANT to go. Finally, they stopped talking; and awkward silence was in the air.
" So how's school?" Annabeth asks me.
I smile, "Oh, high school's wonderful! They have an extended writing program, and I just sent my book to the publishers! I'm still waiting for their response, but I think I might actually have a chance at this!"
"Cool! What's it about?" Jason, one of Percy's friends leaned forward in his seat, a fascinated look on his face.
"It's a secret. You'll have to read the book to find out." I saw the horrified looks around me a hastily added, "Don't worry, I requested that they had to publish copies in Latin and Greek, so Percy could read it. If he wanted to." they nodded and I looked out the window and pulled out my phone.
"You're not allowed to have a phone! Chuck it out the window now!" Leo gasped.
"Don't worry, Leo. I got one of your siblings to make the case out of celestial bronze a few years ago, you know, just in case." Percy assured him.
Frank looks out of the window, "We're here, guys."
I gulp, nervously, step out of the van and step onto Camp grounds with everyone else.
