8:57. That's what time it is. At least, that's what the analog clock read. I'm sitting in my small car, barely large enough to hold Andrew, who happens to be placed next to me. I'm driving tonight. Designated driver, that's m-
"Are you gonna leave the car Ed?" It was Andrew; he had already gotten out and opened my door.
"Well Ann, I figured I would wait for you to open the door," I grin as my feet slide out the car and into the mildly wet grass. Soft footprints are placed on the ground as I can assume Pam had come here early.
We sneak behind the house as the campfire scene scrolled closer and closer. The flames seemed to lick the air as two shapes could be made out. Like a two crested mountain, Pam and Blake were leaning against each other with a large blanket draped over them. Surrounding them were empty cans rolling slowly across the ground.
Pam glances over at us as her vision finally breaks from Blake; "You guys finally showed up. Yay."
Andrew's face suddenly sours as he realizes, "You guys better not have drank everything!"
"Only one twelve pack, we have two more left. Jesus, no need to freak out on me yet."
Andrew smiles as he bends down to pick up an entire casing of the drinks; "Oh yes, you guys know how to throw a party."
"Well hey! Edward over here is the one that got ahold of these in the first place!" Pam exclaims with a hoot of laughter. Blush jumps up my face, "R-really! It was nothing! Only a quick nab and dab, nothing more!"
"Yeah, but it got us beer, that's what counts," Andrew quirks as his knuckle connects with my shoulder. I grimace slightly as we both laugh, soon taking spots on the other side of the fire. Andrew sets down the marshmallows he picked up before stabbing one onto the spikes. "Crispy?" He asks as he looks towards me. I nod, "Of course."
