Could trouble already be brewing for one set of newly engaged superheroes? We say yes!
Rey Montenegro, 24, and Grant Gustin, 26, were just spotted on the east coast looking cozy and loving as they celebrated both the brunette beauty's birthday and their engagement. It seemed like a happy time as they had just come from the high of Comic Con, have premiered the newest trialer to the second part to Season 2 of The Flash and Rey's announcement to her spinoff, Mars, but could things be taking a turn for the worse?
Our sources say yes! In fact not only is Ms. Montenegro leaving her beau's show but her own has allegedly been placed on an indefinite hold and possibly cancelled! It was only weeks ago that her bad girl turned good was given her own series at Comic Con but it seems that not only were we stunned by this news but also the actress who appeared to be less then pleased by the announcement. Could this be why her show is already calling it quits?
Lets think about it though? Mars has becoming quite a staple in our lives since she first debuted surfacing from the fiery gates of hell and into Earth 1, ready to take on the most powerful metahuman this world had to offer, not to mention running away from her Amazonian sister. Every episode she was in only continued to skyrocket views and her characters merchandise quickly began to climb in sales alone. Even during halloween her character was sought after as her costume sales soared to number 1. So really why would DC and The CW ever cancel such a glorious feminist goddess?
Even though our source is extremely credible we will just wait this one out and see what happens since no comment from DC, CW, and Mars herself has been given. -E!
This book is come to a close!! I can't believe it!! About 5 more chapters and then bonus chapter of them down the line in their life!! I'm thinking about doing a Q&A for the characters would you guys be interested?
