He lays at my feet, fingers spread wide and spazzing. His whole body is jerking on the grass and he's screaming in horrible pain. What do I do? I start holding him still telling him to stop while I sit on my knees, "You're ok! Wake up! Stop please! Please!" His bright eyes spring open, glistening with water. Worry covers his face, and he reaches up and brushes my curly waves out of my face. When he opens his lips to speak, his head falls back and he's unconscience. My heart rate slows, and I realize he'll be fine... But Im lonely now. And Emily... Those were her screams, and her terrified jolts of terror. I have to find her, because if I don't...
It's him. It's the man from the other night. He's got her!
I stand up, excited about this discovery- then reality hit's me. I have to stay here with an unconscience lunatic. Great. I exhale in hope that maybe that will rid me of my problems. But of course- It doesn't.
I look up to see what part of the day it is, it's almost sunset and the sun is already putting off that beautiful orange color that shines late in the day. The color make me think of the days me and Emily would go and eat apricots until are stumachs were painfully screaming for us to stop. And how we'd lay down to elonagate our bodies, so it wouldn't hurt as bad, on the bright, springy green grass. We would look up at the sky, and guess what shapes the soft pink clouds were. When we couldn't guess one, sometimes we'd make up an animal. One time Emily made up one called a alpino- a mix between an alpacha and an rhino.
A small laugh escapes my mouth and my head snaps towards my guardian, Good. I didn't wake him. I yawn, filling my lungs with warm air and take in all of the wonderful smells my world holds. I rearrange my self, laying on my stumach and head on my arm. I feel my eyes flutter shut, and blackness encases me.
"Kamrynn...", I hear a voice echo, but swish away from my thoughts. "Kamrynn...", Ughhhhhh maybe if I ignore him he'll go away. "Kamrynn!", Nope.. Guess not.
"What?", I say in a groggy, yet harsher voice than I mean to.
"We need food, and sleeping is not going to produce it.", He says while grabbing the torch and his leather pack for berries.
"Ughhhhh." I huff, because if I reveal that he's actually right, I'll look stupid- so I might as well keep up the bothered gig for a little longer.
"You coming?" When his sharp words slice through my glare off into the distance, I start to actually get up from my comfortable position on the ground and I add a quick nod to inform him that I heard him- sadly.
Where is he taking me? "Where are we going?", I decide to go ahead and voice my thoughts, wondering where Im aimlesly following him to.
"Surprise.", He says with a wink.
"This is your idea of a 'surprise'?", I gasp with horror as he wiggles up a tall pine tree, with spiny green needles sprigging out from every possible limb, trying to reach his jack-pot. A giant, gushing honey-bee hive.
As a lays his hand on the top limb, where the hive is, to heave himself up, I can't help but smirk at his concentration. His glamorously gold eyes fixed on that humming nest of stingning bugs, and his mind set on retrieving nothing but the nest. Then I hear it-
*Bam!*
