A few days later

We stepped into the penthouse of New Vikings. It is huge! If we stared at the place for so long, I swear it is going to catch on fire or something. Kenneth and Issaac were each by Victoria's side while Narelle batted the couch for her.

"Where's Woody?" Victoria suddenly asked as she set her crutches aside.

"Who?" I quickly sat next to her.

"Our pet cat," she makes the noises to attract a cat.

"I think he is in your room. He misses you," Issaac ran up the stairs.

"C'mon, guys. Sit down. Jack is already comfortable beside Victoria," Narelle smirked at me.

"Well, I need to be here with my girlfriend," I said with full confidence that heads turned my way.

"What?!" I turned my head towards Victoria.

"Yes, Victoria. Will you be my girlfriend?" She blushed hard and looked away.

"Vicky! Say yes!" Issaac shouted from the top of the stairs with an orange cat in his hands, raising it up like the iconic scene from Lion King.

I looked back at Victoria. She nodded shyly. The others cheered and clapped. I sat up and put my arm around her. I kissed the side of her head.

"Do you guys have beers or some wine?" I asked.

"Oh, no! Sorry but no alcohol is in this penthouse. Remember? No alcohol for the next at least seven years," Kenneth brought out a tray of drinks.

"What kind of pact is that?" Alex giggled and took a cup from the tray.

"I miss you so much, Woody!" Victoria picked up the cat and kisses it.

"Why is his name Woody?" I took a cup and sipped.

"Cause I love Disney and Woody the cowboy is my favourite Toy Story character," she leans her head on my shoulder.

She invited me to sleep with her tonight in her room at their penthouse. Her room had pale orange as her wallpaper and fairy lights all over the room.

"OK, Barakat. No funny business on our Victoria, got it?" Kenneth had threatened me.

I laughed but nodded anyways. Victoria finally came out of her bathroom. I got up to help her cause she was not using her crutches. I guided her to the queen size bed and lay down.

"If you don't mind, I preferred to sleep half naked," I pulled my shirt over my head.

"I don't mind," I saw her blushing before turning away.

"I feel like we just got married," I tossed my shirt aside and lay down next to her.

"I feel the same," She giggled.
