Mark sat in his father's study waiting for him to come home from his meeting with the Congressmen of Kansas. Not that waiting was a huge deal its just his mother has been on the edge for a solid four days on who he should fancy and why they should have caught my attention.
"I don't know mother, it's not my priority to marry an omega and have pups." Mark said after his mother questioned him the third time that day as to why he was always alone and not looking for a mate.
"But Mark-" his mother was cut off by her husband striding into the room.
His father kissed his wife tenderly on the cheek before sitting at his desk. "Is there a reason the whole family is in my study?"
"Yes dear, Mark here is in need of finding a mate quickly before he becomes too old to attract anyone," marks mother smiled, her time final and leaving no room for negotiation.
"Alright," mark just scoffed at his father.
"So that's it?" Mark demanded standing up, "I'm just going to be married and stuck with a person that may or may not love me for me?"
Mark's mother seemed insulted, "Of course not Marcus! You will choose your mate out of the handful I provide you," his mother stated, "It still lets you choose who you want to be with forever."
Mark rolled his eyes. "If you need me I'll be in my room," he marched out of the room.
"Call me down when they get here. I wanna get this damn thing over with."
With that he left. There was no reason for Mark to go against his mother, no way to stop her from taking charge of everything that he does. The fact that he can do nothing makes his blood boil with anger.
When he gets to his room he goes straight to the bathroom.
It was gnawing at him to get out, to go seek petty revenge. Mark was never too fond of being overcome by this demon he was cursed with.
His inner alpha was evil, controlling, and loved to come out when he was at his boiling point.
Mark locked eyed with himself in the mirror and let himself be pushed into the back if his mind.
"Oh finally!" Dark exclaimed. Brushing his hair out of his face, he strides out of the bathroom.
Now, since Mark wanted to be alone with himself Dark had time to think about the new omegas.
His mother made them sound so bland, when Dark knew that omegas are far from that.
"Mark, turn your ears on," Dark murmured.
"I'm going to be the first one to see this omegas. I need to find my mate." Dark said while walking onto the balcony.
Excitement flooded his borrowed veins.
This is going to be amazing.
~two years earlier~
"Do you have yer luggage?"
"Here."
"Toiletries?"
Inside luggage."
"Your books?"
"Already at my room on the boat."
"See this is unnecessary, you don't need to go all-"
"Ma!" Jack yelled over his moms ranting.
"I'll be fine, it's only for 4 years," he hugged his crying mother until she could breath again.
"On last thing, your euro. You'll need it to get transferred in to American money so you can by your stuff."
Jack opened a small zipper on his luggage showing his mom the many bills.
"Alrighty then. I don't want you to be left dear," his mom pulled him into one last hug before pushing him onto the walkway.
"I'll be back before you know it!" Jack screamed, then muttering an apology to the ones around him.
What he didn't know was that in America people are cruel, and people will do anything to get money.
He didn't know that he was going to have his life ruined for being born an omega.
So as he sits on the railing of the ship waving goodbye to all the ones seeing the ship off, he sees his life as turning around.
Jack took his time heading back to his room. He enjoyed watching all the people roam around and converse excitedly about the Americas.
Jack was lightly tapped on the shoulder. He turned around to see bright blue eyes, shaky blonde hair, and a strong scent of happy alpha.
"Hi there, I'm Felix!" The man stuck out his hand waiting for a shake. His accent made Jack laugh.
Jack gladly accepted the handshake, "I'm Sean but you can call me Jack," he smiled.
"Where do plan on going while in America?" Felix tried. He slid his hand out of Jack's and rubbed his neck with it awkwardly.
"I'm headed over here for a scholarship, actually." Jack stated, what about you?"
"I'm off to find my calling in the world you know?" Felix shrugged.
"Yeah I know," jack chuckled walking up his corridor.
Jack and Felix walk to Jack's room and their conversation was cut short.
"Well I'll see you later," Felix said waving bye to the Irishmen.
"Yeah," Jack stepped into his room and flopped on the bed.
He has never been so excited than he is right now.
A few weeks later he and Felix walked off the boat together. Their friendship grew as the days flew by.
"Well this is it," Felix smiled at the excited omega.
"I hope you have fun exploring America Felix, find love, and all that sappy shit," jack giggled.
Felix nodded and walked away.
Jack went to turn away until he heard his name. Jack saw the alpha run back towards him, his face was pulled to Felix's. the kiss was short and final.
"I'll miss you," Felix whispered. Jack's face was beet red as Felix finally walked off for sure.
"I'll miss you too, he whispered back, accepting that he wasn't heard.
Jack went on his way after a while. Finding a cab and asking to be brought to the closest bank to transfer the euro.
When that was done he went off to call another cabbie to take him to the airport.
Heyyyy so the next few chapters will be about Jack and his story about how he gets kidnapped
