A New threat (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 6: Danger

Jaden woke up to Luna shaking him.

"Jaden! Hey Jaden! Are you ok?!"

Jaden went to sit up from the side of the bed but he hit his head on the top bunk.

"Ouch! Hey Luna...."

Luna grabbed Jaden by the arm,

"Oh my God are u ok?!"

Jaden rubbed his head,

"Yeah just a bump it's all good."

Luna sighed,

"good but I wasn't talking about that, I was talking about your nightmare.."

Jaden paused,

"I was having a nightmare?"

Luna nodded,

"I woke up to you screaming things in your sleep. And question, why were you sleeping on the edge of your bed?"

Jaden sighed,

"I got up in the middle of the night because someone sent me a message..."

Luna paused cautiously,

"Who sent you a message?"

Jaden paused for awhile not saying anything but he didn't have to. As soon as Jaden stopped talking she knew who had sent the message.

"What did he say Jaden?"

Jaden sighed,

"He said that he saw some evil force pass into he human world and he told me to take care if it. But the problem is I have no idea where to start or what to do."

Luna paused,

"Oh, well your not going to do this alone. I'm here."

Jaden shook his head,

"I can't ask you to help me with this Luna. It's my timeline, therefore it's my responsibility."

Luna shook her head,

"Your crazy if you think I'm gonna let you do this alone. As long as I'm in this timeline I'm going to do every in my power to help you. Whether you like it or not."

Jaden frowned and put his head in his hands in frustration.

"I can't let you get involved Luna. I can't risk your safety. I can't lose you ok."

Jaden looked up into Luna's eyes. He looked overcome with guilt and worry. Luna sat next to Jaden. Jaden looked back down at the floor.

"It's just...That I've put the ones I care about in danger before and well..."

Flashbacks flooded Jaden's mind of watching his friends one by one getting sent to the stars. Jaden closed his eyes as tears dripped from his eyes to the floor.

"...They got hurt...And I don't want the same to happen to you..."

Luna stared at Jaden and put an arm around him.

"I get it. But Jaden you'll need my help. If this thing is as powerful as Supreme King said then you'll need all the help you can get."

Jaden wiped his eyes clear of tears and nodded.

"Your right. But please promise me you'll be careful."

Luna nodded.

"Now you need to catch up on some sleep."

Jaden nodded and crawled into bed. Within minutes he slipped into a light sleep. But the light sleep didn't keep the Nightmares away for Jaden. Soon he began to have them again, so Luna cuddled up next to him and layed with him for the next two hours.
