A New threat (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 7: Venturing Deeper

Jaden proceeded to have nightmares for awhile longer. But they soon went away as Luna hugged him tightly and they both slept well the rest of the  night. Then in the morning, Jaden awoke to find Luna already up and about. She smiled at him with a warm smile, 

"Morning, Jaden." 

Jaden rubbed his eyes and sat up, 

"Morning"

Luna grabbed a cup off of Jaden's dresser and handed it to Jaden.

"Syrus stopped by earlier to give you and me a pot of his famous tea. I saved a cup for you."

Jaden smiled and took a sip from the cup, 

"Thank you Luna. So I had a lot of things planned for us to do today but since last night, I guess we're gonna have to scrap those activities."

Luna sighed, 

"Well we don't have to scrap everything. We can do the things you planned while keeping an eye out for this evil that Supreme King mentioned."

Jaden thought for a moment then slowly nodded, 

"Okay but I actually want to go check something out first. I'm gonna need to gather my friends to let them know where I'm going because this place has a bad reputation of kids going missing."

Luna paused with a concerned look, 

"Going missing?"

Jaden nodded,

"Sadly, yes."

He then pulls out his phone and texts all his friends telling them to meet him at the edge of the forest. He then grabbed Luna's hand with a smile,

"Care to go on a adventure with me?"

Luna rolled her eyes and smiled,

"With you, everyday is an adventure."

They then went to the edge of the forest and waited for Jaden's friends to show up. After awhile, they all showed, even Chazz. Jaden then quieted them all down and spoke,

"Hey guys, I had a dream last night that leads me to believe that Duel Academy and the world is in danger once again."

Jesse then spoke up, 

"What do you mean Jay?"

Jaden sighed,

"I mean that I had this dream where I was told that a new evil has entered this world and it's up to me to stop it. Now, I only know one place evil can enter this world from the spirit world."

Alexis then froze,

"The Abandoned Dorm.."

Jaden nodded,

"Yeah, so I wanted to tell you guys in case we aren't back within a few hours."

Chazz then smirked,

"Don't worry Jaden, if you guys aren't back you can count on the Chazz coming into rescue you."

Blair then slapped Chazz upside the head,

"Shut up Chazz, that kind of attitude is the last thing that we need right now."

Bastion then intervened,

"She's right, but Jaden the probability of this going wrong is very high. Are you sure you both want to do this alone? There are several of us here who can see duel spirits, we could help you."

Jesse nodded,

"Bastion is right. We could all help you Jay, just say the word."

Jaden sighed and but a hand on Jesse's shoulder,

"I appreciate the offer Jesse, but that's exactly why I need you guys to stay here. In case something goes wrong, then you guys will be able to protect the place. Got it?"

Jesse nodded,

"Don't worry Jay, we'll handle things here. You go check out the dorm."

Jaden smiled from ear to ear,

"I plan to leave no stone unturned. Get it? Because the place is made of solid stone?"

Jesse rolled his eyes and gave Jaden a small shove,

"Yeah, Yeah now get out of here you joker."

Jaden began walking with Luna into the forest but as he did he turned around and called back to his friends,

"Don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this. I promise, we'll be back."

With that, Luna and Jaden disappeared into the thick forest of Duel Academy Island, determined to find the source of the problem and hopefully destroy it.
