A New threat (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 1: I Missed You

Jaden stood alone on the end of a cliff looking out into the ocean. He was in deep thought. A year had went by since the last time he had saw Luna. It had been a hard year too, sure he had his friends but nothing could ever top Luna. Jaden crossed his arms and sighed. At that moment, a voice shook him from his thoughts.

"Hey Jaden"

He turned to find his best friend Syrus standing behind him. He smiled at him,

"Hey Sy..what's up?"

Syrus frowned,

"I could ask you the same thing"

Jaden looked at him confused,

"What are you talking about?"

Syrus shook his head,

"Jaden I can see that something's wrong...so just tell me what's up"

Jaden sighed and looked back out over the cliff,

"I miss Luna....there I said it, are you happy now?"

Syrus sighed and walked up to stand next to Jaden.

"Look Jay your never going to get over her so why don't you make plans to see her?"

Jaden shook his head,

"Yusei probably wouldn't allow it"

Syrus rolled his eyes,

"Look Jay you miss her a lot so who cares about the laws of space and time and who cares what Yusei says if you love her you need to see her no matter what it takes. And besides I can't stand to see you like this anymore."

Jaden nodded and smiled

"Thanks for the support Syrus"

Syrus smiled

"No problem, I mean what are friends for?"

Jaden's smile then faded to a frown,

"But here's the problem Sy...I want to see her but as I said Yusei probably wouldn't let me..."

Syrus sighed

"Well why don't you ask her to come here? I mean we all would love to meet her and I'm sure professor Banner wouldn't mind... "

Jaden thought about it for a moment then smiled

"Ok I'll call her and ask her"

Syrus gave him a thumbs up

"Alright great"

Jaden walked back to his dorm room and stared at his phone on his dresser. He was having second thoughts for a few moments but he ended up picking up the phone and dialing the number. And he began to wait impatiently for Luna to pick up. Just as it looked like she wasn't going to answer, Jaden heard a young voice echo though the phone.

"Hi Jaden"

Jaden grinned as soon as he heard her voice.

"Hello Luna, man it's nice to hear your voice."

Jaden heard her giggle through the phone,

"It's nice to hear yours too Jaden."

Jaden smiled,

"Hey Luna how would you feel about coming to Duel Academy?"

There was a pause of silence then Luna spoke again.

"I would love to, but I'm not sure if Yusei would allow it"

Jaden was determined to see her,

"Why don't you try asking him?"

Luna sighed

"Alright I'll ask then I'll let you know what he says ok?"

Jaden nodded

"Ok see you soon"

Luna giggled

"Yeah hopefully, bye love you Jaden"

Jaden blushed,

"Love you Luna"

After that Jaden hung up the phone and hoped that Yusei would let her come.
