The last normal night Liesel slept, she laid on her back with one leg out of her blankets. Her blonde hair up in a ponytail, still somehow managing to get tangled into her head board. It was a fairly warm, fall night, rare for October, but her room was undeniably hot. Not only was she sweating from the heat, but the immense anxiety coursing threw her preventing her from sleeping well, didn't help. She stirred a bit, before slipping back into a deeper more restful sleep.

"Zach, If I wanted to, I could destroy everything." She spoke to her boyfriend.
"I know you like to think that, Liesel, but I don't think that's true."
"I can't believe she would be so hypocritical. Her? Understanding? Bullshit!" Liesel spat.
Zach gave Liesel a half-hearted smile, and out of the corner of her eye Liesel noticed an unusual man. Unusual was especially extreme for her considering that her father was, Alexander Pierce, the head of Hydra. The man seemed towards his mid-forties as he looked and searched the room until he looked straight at her. He then sat down directly across the restaurant. Liesel shook it off assuming it was her overly paranoid mind, and turned her attention back to Zach.
"My biology test was a terrible mistake," Zach complained. "Who ever needs to know what a plasma membrane is?"
"You do Zachary." Liesel taunted. "You're going to be a BIO engineer. You have to know the structure of a basic cell."
Suddenly out of the corner of her eye, Liesel saw the suspicious man pull out a shotgun. It was almost in slow motion. Liesel grasped Zach's shirt and pulled him under the table with her, just as the man aimed the gun at the two. The bullet landed where Liesel's head once was and Zach cursed under his breath. People could be heard screaming from everywhere in the bar. Liesel pulled out the gun from the holster under her skirt. She started to crawl out from under the table.
"Are you insane?" Zach hissed, pulling her back down under the table. "He's trying to kill you!"
"I know." She said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"So, why the hell would you come out from under the table?"
"Cover me." she demanded, shoving the pistol into his hand.
"What?" He yelped, staring terrified at the weapon that was now in his hands. Before he could argue against Liesel, she was already making her way to the counter. Zach's hands shook from fear as he held the gun tightly in his hand, watching the man intensely. The man shot at Liesel as Zach gritted his teeth ignoring his fear. He shot the gun and the bullet hit the man in the shoulder, causing him to stumble back. The man steered his attention towards Zach and started to shoot at the brunette. Zach backed into the corner of the one sided booth and shielded his head.
Liesel, now behind the counter, grabbed one of the large knifes. She popped her head up to look at the dangerous man and got ready to throw the knife at him. Suddenly, there were gunshots and bullets slid through his torso, blood starting to slowly soak his shirt. He stumbled for a minute before his lifeless body hit the ground.
Both Zach and Liesel sat stunned, looking at the man's body. Zach pulled out his phone, calling an ambulance, but Liesel just stared at the dead man. There weren't multiple bullet holes, in fact there were no other bullets at all. Only one bullet was there. Liesel had seen this somewhere before, but she couldn't remember where. Suddenly there was another shot, and Zach choked out a breath before collapsing beside the man. Liesel screamed.
She woke with the same scream. Her breathing was heavily thin and labored. She sat up quickly and remembered earlier in the day where it had happened. Someone had been trying to kill her and Zach did shoot him in the Shoulder. The familiarity of the shot still wouldn't leave her head. But Zachary never got shot. She tried to calmed her breath a bit. She obviously wasn't dealing with someone trying to assassinate her as well as she thought.
