My eyes slowly fluttered open. I looked around and was instantly blinded by a bright light. I quickly closed my eyes again and left them closed.

the first thing I thought was: Ow my head.

I finally worked up my courage and opened my eyes again, this time I squinted and took a look of my surroundings. I was laying on the floor, slightly leaned against a grey brick wall. All four walls were the same; dirty grey bricks with what seemed to be claw marks scratched into the side. The floor was a cold cement that was extremely uncomfortable.
The second thing I thought was: Where am I?
I sat up and felt a pain in my neck, probably from the way I slept. I brought my hands down to rub my shoulders but I was stopped. Slowly, I dragged my eyes to my hands and noticed how they had metal chains, that were for some reason burning me, making me hiss in pain , connecting them to the wall.

My mind was a mess, I began going over the whole of yesterday's events. Everything from the kiss with Jace to...

HOLY CRAP I'VE BEEN          KIDNAPPED!!!

I began frantically trying to get out of the chains. I finally gave up when I noticed my wrists were going purple and I probably sprained it trying to get free.

Well, I guess this is what I get when I have no one else to live for.
That's not true I heard a soft yet husky voice say.
Who the hell said that? Ugh I'm so messed up I'm hearing things.
You have Jace
The voice said. I felt my eyes water with the idea of someone caring for me. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine what a better life would be like...

*Dales Dream*

I began to drift through an empty abyss. I wonder if this is what death feels like...
"I guess there's no point in trying to help you, cause let's face it; you're hopeless." I heard an angelic voice say. "I can try and fix you. I have been trying to fix you. But, sometimes in life there comes a point where you realise..." the voice got louder. "you were never really broken. You just didn't have all the pieces. But now have a reason to live again." The voice said.

Suddenly I jerked forwards. I closed my eyes tight and opened them again slowly. I was in the woods. But not the one I was used to.

The grass was a blue kind of colour and the trees where made of a dark purple bark that went straight up and seemed to never end. I was in a clearing. The trees around me formed a circle around a large grey tree stump. Sitting on the stump was a woman. She had white hair that floated up, as if gravity didn't exist for her. The light from the full moon shone directly on her making her long white dress shine.
"Tell me, what is death to you?" The woman asked. I looked around to see who she was talking to.
"That's right, I'm talking to you honey."
"Who, me?" I asked. The woman nodded and patted the part of the tree stump next to her.
"So... what is death to you Dale?" She asked.
"How do you know my name?" I whispered.
"Just answer the question." She said in a calm voice.
What is death to me?
"Well, I guess death is an escape." I said simply.
"Well, sweetie, would you like to know what death is to me?" I nodded "Death is the biggest journey of your life. It is a second chance. Another door opened. You just need to make it yours. Your own perfect death." I smiled at her. I thought she was going to tell me the exact opposite but she didn't.
"But on the other hand, if you die, you take a bit of the people that cared about you with you. Believe me, I know." She said.
"You're..." I started
"Dead, yeah honey. I have been dead for a little over a millennium." She said.
"Wh-who are y-you?" I asked quietly.
"I'm, what some people may call, The Moon Goddess." She said. "Listen I don't have the time to explain but please... Dale. Don't give up on life."
"How do I know you aren't just a figment of my imagination?" I asked desperately as she stood up.
"Here." She picked up a piece of my hair at the front turning it white.

*Reality*

My eyes shot open as I felt a blow to my stomach causing me to groan. In front of me was the man from the party. He had kicked me.
"Morning sleeping beauty, I have a feeling we're gonna have lots of fun." He said with a slight accent that sounded like it came somewhere from the UK (either Wales or Scotland I'm not quite sure.) He stared at me with a sadistic smile.
"Who are you?" I whispered, exhausted as I struggled to remember my dream.
"Oh never mind about him." A British man with blonde hair and a five o'clock shadow came through a large metal door I didn't notice before. "I'm Leon, and this is my stepbrother Francisco." The man from the party waved.
"Call me Frank."
"What do you want?" I whispered
"Well, we heard you are friends with a certain boy." Leon started.
"Is this true?" Frank asked.

I pushed myself off the floor and looked at the two of them.
"What are you talking about? Everyone hates me." I weakly said.
"What about the wol-I mean boy, Jace?" Leon said smirking.
"What about him? Why did you kidnap me?" I said getting angry " If you're going to kill me can you please just do it now?" I said, getting super angry that the two of them are playing a sick game. I turned my head to fully face them.
"Woah! Dude, look at her hair!" Frank yelled.
"Wasn't it always like that?" Leon asked. I was so confused at this point.
"Can someone just tell me what the hell is going on?" I snapped glaring at the men. Frank raised his hand and pointed to my hair. I looked down and saw what he was pointing at.

My eyes went wide as I saw my hair was pure white on one side, and glowing too. I looked back at the other side and saw it was pitch black. I looked up at my kidnappers and screamed.
"We need to get her to Alph- I mean Carlos. He would know what's happening!" Frank yelled. Leon nodded and unchained me.
"If you make a move to run we will kill you." He whispered in my ear as he helped me up. I nodded and walked to Frank.

I thought it was best to just do as I was told. That way no one got hurt. Or at least I hoped...
