Vampire Princess

Chapter 1 : Birthday

Aikira Oikawa, the princess of the vampire kingdom. Aiba Tachibana was her guardian they have known each other since she was eight years old. Ever since when he saved her from the three murderous werewolves they were good friends.

Today is her sixteenth birthday. She was outside picking flowers for her parents. Aiba was walking by and saw her. The way the sun was shining on her, she looked radiant to him. He shook his head to get those thoughts out of his head. She was a princess and he was just her guard. He can't fall in love with her. He walked over to her. He tried as hard as he could to get those thoughts out of his head, but it was in vein. He just couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Ms. Aikira , what are you doing out here by yourself?" he asked.

"Sir Aiba. I just wanted to be alone for a little while. Didn't you know that today's my sixteenth birthday?" she said.

"Yeah and don't call me Sir Aiba, just Aiba will do, Ms. Aikira :)" he said.

"Did you also know that it was eight years ago today that you saved my life here, I'm really thankful, Sir Aiba :)) oh right Aiba sorry. (chuckle)" she said.

"Oh I forgot that was long time ago hehe :))" he answered.

"I've remembered it clearly. It really was the bravest thing I've ever seen." she said.

"Thank you, Ms. Aikira for the compliment. Ms. Akira we should go back inside it's getting late" (chuckle) he said

"Isn't the garden beautiful?" she said ignoring him.

"Yes. It's almost as beautiful as you." he said, grabbing her waist and pulling her closer to him.

She blushed as he said that. They gazed into each other’s eyes. Aikira gasped as Aiba did something unexpected. He leaned down until his lips burshed hers. Her eyes widened in shock and then she slowly closed them and deepened the kiss by put her arms around his neck. Aiba pushed away from her, not wanting the kiss to end but he knew it had to. Aikira was disappointed that he ended the kiss so suddenly. She didn't want it to end.

"I'm sorry. This is wrong." he told her walking away.

"We should go back it's getting late" he said while walking away

Leaving Aikira stunned. Sure he was in love with her but he knew their love could never be. She was a princess and he was just her guard.
