~the next day~
Today I leave for the cruise
My bags are packed
Zoe slept over at my place last night
Zaniya wakes up by shaking me violently
I start freaking out & I slap her by mistake
"Ow" she moans
"Sorry Niya" I say covering my face
Zoe laughs loudly & Zaniya throws a pillow at her
It smacks Zoe on the head
Zoe throws one at Niya hitting her head
They start yelling at each other
"aye aye..3 days we have in a cruise..you two ain't gonna fight right?" I say
irritated by their behavior lately
Ever since Zaniya came to New York.
Zoe & her have this weird rivalry between themselves
I've been trying to break it up & make them like each other.
"No..but until she stops making fun of Me. I ain't speak to her" Niya says crossing her arms
"Niya cmon.." I say with my hands on my hips
"Your acting a bit immature now." I add
"Immature? Say that to her! She's mocking me at every move I make" she says
I look over at Zoe
"Zoe..please be nice to Niya..it's her first time living in New York." I say
with pleading eyes
"It's hard when she gives attitude" Zoe snaps at me
"Zoe..you may be my best friend but she's my sister..treat her like you treat me or else..-"
"Or else what? You'll quit?" She snaps again
"What's up with you? Haven't got laid?" I snap at her
She gasps
"Oh forget it Zi you can go on that stupid cruise by yourself with your sister...I'll spend my time in New York having fun all by myself"
"Which booty call you'll hook up with tonight? Joe,Bill,William,John,Kyle??" I say smirking
"I'm not a hoe if that's what your trying to say" she says
I leave her alone & I get dressed in a different outfit
~after a while~
Zaniya is dressed in her maxi skirt with a crop top
She braids her hair
I look over as I fix my sundress
To see Zoe looking like a child with her arms crossed & having a silent tantrum
"Zoe I love you but cmon your acting like a child. It's either you come or you don't." I say simply tired of it
She stays silent
"Fine I see you'll throw away a long lasting friendship over stupid shit" I say & grab my bags
"Cmon Niya the cruise boat arrives at the dock at 10am..it's 9:30am" I say
She rushes & grabs her stuff
I see Zoe sitting down still
"We'll..bye" I say
She grabs my hand
"I'm sorry okay? I'm a dumbass I know..can I still come?" She says tearing up
"Why are you crying?" I ask hugging her
"Because I'm a dumbass who doesn't deserve a best friend like you.." She says
"You are a bit of a dumbass..but I love this dumbass of a friend I got." I say pinching her cheek
"But you gotta apologize to someone" I add looking at Zaniya
She nods & stands up
"Niya Im very sorry for my behavior recently it's been immature & stupid. I hope you accept my apology & maybe start over?" She says
Zaniya nods
"It's okay. I was immature also" Niya says
They hug
"Finally! It worked!" I say putting my fists in the air while they laugh
"Let's go!" I say
Zoe changes into a outfit real quick & grabs her stuff
We rush out of the house & head to the dock
~9:56am~
We're sitting down at the dock waiting for the boat to arrive
When suddenly two arms grab my waist
I scream out & I hear a familiar voice giggle
I look back to see Nate with a man bun
"Oh..hi." I say blushing & he holds me in his arms
"Thought you could leave without giving me a goodbye kiss?" He asks winking
"I'm sorry baby.." I say pouting a little
He pecks my lips
"Your forgiven. But remember next time." He says giggling
"I'll miss you a lot." He adds whining
"it's only 3 days." I say rolling my eyes playfully
"Yeah..but I won't be able to actually touch you." He says
He pulls me closer to him
"I was hoping this thanksgiving coming up..you would be my date to the dinner I'm throwing.." He says smiling
"I would love to be your date" I say & bite my lip a little
The loud cruise horn blows
Making my ears go numb for a moment
I frown
"I'll see you in 3 days." I say
He nods & before I could walk away
He grabs me & kisses me passionately in front of Niya & Zoe
I hear Niya clear her throat
"Sorry.." I say
"I gotta go." I add
He smiles & kisses my hand
"I love you Ziah" he says cupping my face
"Stop making it sound like this is the last time you'll see me" I say giggling
"I love you too tho" I add
He pecks my lips once more & lets go of my hand as I walk onto the platform
I walk on the cruise boat & I walk to the signing in area
I sign all of us in & I grab our "passenger ID" 's
I walk out to the terrace of the boat & I wave at Nate as we leave the dock
Nate waves back at me
I sigh & Niya hugs me
"It'll be fine..it's only 3 days." She says
I nod & we walk to our new room...
