"Where are we?" Ron's voice is the first thing I hear, after I can catch my breath once more.
I open my eyes, to be greeted by the dark night on a busy street. Cars whizz past us, and people stare at us, as if we were the traveling circus.
"Tottenham Court Road," Hermione explains, walking too fast for my short legs to keep up. I just hold onto Ron's hand tightly, "Walk, just walk, we need to find somewhere for you to change." She commands us and we do as we're told.
As more and more people stare at us, some even laughing, I realize how out of place we look. Four teenagers, running through a busy street. To top it all off, Ron and Barny are still in their dress robes, a strange sight for muggles.
"Hermione, we haven't got anything to change into," Ron mentions as we try and weave through the slow walkers.
"Why didn't I make sure I had the Invisibility Cloak with me?" Barny mutters, shaking his head with disappointment, "All last year I kept it on me and-"
"It's okay, I've got the Cloak, I've got clothes for both of you," Hermione explains, and she looks back at Ron and I.
Her eyes widen with surprise and she freezes in place, causing Ron and I to tumble into her.
"What's she doing here? Are you insane, Ron?" She asks, pointing to me. Ron holds onto my hand tighter as he takes a step away from Hermione.
"I couldn't just leave her there! She would have died," Ron replies, raising his voice some.
Barny, on the other side of Hermione looks very panicked, and anxious. He keeps looking around the place, as if on guard.
"Her parents were there. They're going to be worried sick, and who knows when we'll see any of them ever again." She remarks, raising her voice this time. "Ron, you've got to start using your head for once!" She shouts and starts off running again, dropping Ron's hand from hers.
After a few moments of nearly running down the road, Hermione swiftly ducks into an alleyway, Ron and I following after her.
"When you say you've got the Cloak, and the clothes..." Barny speaks up, sounding a little uneasy. I look up to see the red-headed cousin of Ron, but instead, I see a black-haired boy in his place. I can't help but to gaps, wondering what's going on.
"That's Harry, he had to be hidden for safety measures," Ron explains to me, putting an arm on my shoulder.
So, I've been with the famous Harry Potter this entire time. I've read about him a hundred times in the Daily Prophet, it's so odd to see him within inches from me.
"Yes, they're here," Hermione nods, and much to our surprise, she pulls out full outfits from her very small beaded handbag. After handing them clothes, she pulls out a cloak, and hands it to Harry.
"How the ruddy hell-?" Ron stares at the clothes in his hand, utterly confused.
"Undetectable Extension Charm. Tricky, but I think I've done it okay," Hermione explains, as if it were nothing. "Anyway, I managed to fit everything we need in here," She shakes her bag, and we hear heavy objects rolling around in the bag. "Oh, damn, that'll be the books. And I had them stacked by subject... oh well..." She mutters, looking into her bag.
I watch Hermione with confusion, but Ron and Harry look as if this were normal. Is she always this orginized and prepared?
"Harry, you'd better take the Invisibility Cloak. Ron, hurry up and change..." She snaps at the boys, taking charge.
"When did you do all this?" Harry asks.
Ron starts to take off his robe and I turn my back to him, giving him his privacy. My cheeks turn slightly red, involuntarily.
