Monday, September 9th  12:30pm

I was so close to taking hot coffee and spilling it on myself just so I could burn myself and leave work. Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little bit and things aren't that extreme. But my boss decided to put up a one day offer and the place has been flodded with people. To make it worse for me, my co-worker behind the stall had been granted a day off today and for some reason my boss thought I could manage everything by myself.

I wanted to rip my ears off everytime I heard someone huff out in annoyance. You want your drink? You want your food? Wait for it or just do it yourself.

I was busy making another drink when I heard the now line of 7 people start arguing.

"HEY! NO CUTTING IN LINE!" I rolled my eyes knowing that people are expecting me to handle this now. I turned around and saw Inseong looking at me in panic as everyone was having a go at him.

"Give me 5-no.. 15 minutes, okay?" He nodded and left to have a seat. After what seemed like forever, I was finally done. Inseong literally waited until my shift was over.. Poor thing.

"Hey." I sat across of him.

"Hi." He smiled widely.

"Sorry that took more time than I expected.. What did you have to tell me?"

"It's fine, I saw." He let out a small laugh and continued, "you remember after our midnight barbeque trip by the beach a few days ago.."

Oh right.. We went there and played truth or dare and I was dared to go into the water (which was not cold at all). Maybe, that's why I didn't want to remember it.

I nodded.

"Remember after.. you know, I said I have something on my list to do that would keep you warm next time?" He pulled out a tiny bag from under the table.

"I've been going to knitting classes for a while and I wanted to make something for you." He looked at me with excitement in his eyes. He nodded for me to see the gift.

"You didn't have to.." I felt myself smile at the thought of him making something for me and took out the content.

"It was suppose to be a sweater but.." Inseong rubbed the back of his neck.

I held the sock in my hand and looked him in the eyes. I felt my face crack and I just couldn't hold it in and laughed. It's not that he made this instead of that.. It's that he knitted me one sock. One.

"This will keep me just as warm as a sweater." I said after calming down.

"You wont need them both when you have me."

And his warmth was truly the only thing I needed.
