Chad's P.O.V
“So what do you wanna do in the next 15 minutes?” Haley mumbled lying next to me.
“How comes I get 15 minutes?” I turned my head to my right so that I was now staring into those melting eyes of hers
“Because Josh is coming in the next 15 minutes and I don’t want you here when we start” she stated
“Why not” I asked looking at the ceiling and not those eyes
“Because I won’t be able to focus and your just gonna mess around and tease the poor kid?” she smiled and I couldn’t help but grin “And don’t you have to spend time with your girlfriend?” she asked more conscious.
“I guess your right….. I should probably spend some time with her and not bug you and Santiago tonight.” I sighed before asking “What time is it by the way?”
“It’s 5:16 so you have 14 minutes” she said sitting up and I followed
“Ok let’s play some hand games…oh! Oh! I know, let’s play Patti cake” a cheered causing her to chuckle a bit.
“Ok loser buys the other a French fry” she grinned
“You’re on buster” I laughed and we turned facing each other ready to play when we heard a knock on the door and Haley scrunched her nose up and pouted.
“Who is it” she asked
“Umm it’s Josh…. I’m here for the math lesson” he mumbled sounding a bit nervous. Well who wouldn’t be at times? But not times like this! I have 13 more minutes.
I got up and went to the door and Haley turned in the bed and let her feet dangle as I opened the door seeing a startled Josh looking at me as if he had the wrong room “you’re early Santiago try coming back in the next 13 minutes ok” I stated as I closed the door before he could answer and turned to see Haley in disbelief “What?” I asked innocently.
“Josh you can come in if you like” she stated with more authority “And Chad you can remove yourself from my door” she grinned so I moved out of the way and let the kid in.
“Umm are you tutoring Chad too Haley?” Josh asked and Haley shook her head in mirth
“Dude me and Hales were tied for first place in math class” I stated a bit annoyed
“Oh…. I’m just asking since you’re here and all” he mumbled.
“So you have a problem with me being here Santiago?” I asked
“Ugh n-no I d-don’t! I was just w-wondering that’s all” he stuttered and I walked up to him and the kid was literally shaking
“Josh calm down I’m just playing around, I wasn’t gonna hurt yah” I chuckled “Ok hales I’ll see you at school Monday I’m gonna go by Lacy before she starts pulling her hair out. I told her I’d take her to the movies after I asked you if you wanted to come and that’s like half an hour ago” I said before hugging her good bye and fist bumping Josh “Later man and keep your eyes in your books” I stated seriously and left.
Outside I looked up at Haley’s window and saw that she was blowing a kiss my way and I grabbed it and placed it in my top pocket which caused her to grin.
Time to check on my girlfriend before she thinks I forgot about her, I mean how could she be jealous of Haley when we hardly spend any time together? I tell yah I will never understand the mind of a female.

Haley's P.O.V
“Ok Josh let’s start working, why are you so early by the way?” I smiled
“I’m sorry I guess I was just a bit excited that’s all. I didn’t mean to interrupt you and chad” he apologized before asking “Almost everyone in
school is asking though. Are you too dating?”
And if I had anything in my mouth right now it would probably be all over his books “What?”
“You know if you too are a couple?” he asked looking at me searchingly
“Why would you guys think that?”
“Because you guys are so close and you too are the best looking kids at school”
“We don’t even talk that much at school and he sits with popular kids at school and I don’t. We don’t even walk home together anymore”
“Yeah but when you guys do meet up at school only idiots wouldn’t see the chemistry between you too”
“Yeah that’s because we’ve been best of friend since we were four”
“So you guys aren’t together?” he asked
“No we aren’t dating and you can go and tell the entire school that when you go back to school tomorrow” I sighed feeling a bit exhausted
“Oh ok. So do you want to date?” he asked a little more nervous than when he came in
“I think we should get down to work Josh if you don’t mind” I chuckled and he laughed nervously.
“Oh yes we should” he mumbled
Me and Chad being an actual couple…… that would be so weird
