Mal's POV

I don't know why I did it... I just.. punched him. I guess it was reasonable. After that punch, I felt like all the weight was lifted off my shoulders.

"What was that for?!" Matt said right after I punch him. He was holding his nose, and I could see blood dripping out of it.

"I- I don't k-know," I said. I darted away from him after that.

I looked through my purse for my keys. They were no where to be seen. Crap! I must've left them on the lunch table. I ran back inside the Studio, making sure to avoid Matt.

I quickly grabbed them and tried to run out of there as soon as possible.

"Mal! I need to talk to you!" I heard Jared say.

Great, now he's going to talk about Matt. I turned around and gave him a huge fake smile.

"Sure!" I said.

I plopped myself into the seat in his office.

"So, what do you need?" I asked, still pretending to be peppy.

"Mal, save the act. Let's be serious," Jared said.

Well, he was going to find out eventually.

"I saw what happened today--"

"No you see--"

"I don't want to argue with you Mallory. I've noticed that the idea of you and Matt 'pretending' to be in a relationship isn't working. Our money has been declining. I'm sorry, we did everything we could, but we--"

"No. No! Y-you can't fire me! I'm a big part of Studio C!" I said, cutting Jared off. I wanted to quit Studio C, not get fired. Tears started rolling down my face. I quickly wiped them away.

"Oh, Mal I'm sorry.." Jared started to say.

"No, no it's ok. I was going to quit anyways, I-I just didn't know how I was going to do it. Thanks for making that easier. Goodbye Jared."

I got up and walked out of that room as quickly as possible.

"Mal! We should talk!" Jared said, running up behind me, "I can recommend you somewhere!"

I didn't turn back. I didn't want to say anything mean, Jared isn't the bad guy here. I stepped outside into the crisp November air. I noticed Stacey was about to go into his car, so I ran as fast as I could into my car.

"Hey Mal! What's wrong?" Stacey asked, his voice laced with concern.

I didn't answer, and I sped away. I just needed to go home.

By the time I reached home, I threw myself into my bed. Finally, some moments of peace from my crazy day. I decided to check social media, to see what's happening.

A bunch of comments said there's some video of me on YouTube. Oh please don't be something bad.

I looked up the video called "Mattory Drama". The title already makes it look bad.

Woah, 236,000 views. It was just uploaded an hour ago.

When I pressed play, I witnessed myself punching Matt. Oh no. This can't be good for Studio C. But what do I care, I got fired anyways.
