Matt's POV

"Mal? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm working in CVS, what else does it look like?" Mal said, with a huge fake smile on her face, "How can I help you?"

You can help me by explaining what the heck is actually going on right now.

"Uh.. yeah we are looking for a bunch of candy.. We're filming-"

"I'm just here to help you, not listen to your personal life," Mal said, interrupting me.

Sassy much?

"Um.."

"The candy aisle is aisle 3, right to your left. I'm sure you'll find sufficient amounts of candy," Mal said pointing towards aisle three.

"Thanks?" I said.

"No problem!" Mal responded, in a fake peppy voice.

The cast and I headed over to the candy aisle. Well, Mal was right. There was an assortment of candy like Starburst, Snickers, Milky Way, Kit Kat, all my favorites. We were going to film a Kyle sketch, "Kyle's Hyper Halloween".

"Ok here's the plan guys. Mal was supposed to be the mother in the sketch, but due to unnamed causes, Whit will replace her. Let's find as much candy as possible, no more than one bag per person," Jared lectured.

I walked over to the fruit candies and grabbed a bag.

"What's with Mal working here?" Adam said behind me, startling me.

I was surprised. How did he not know about Mal getting fired?

"Did you not hear?" I asked.

"No.."

I turned my voice into a whisper, "Mal got fired."

"What? Seriously?" Adam whispered back.

"Does anybody else know?" I asked.

"No!" Adam yelled.

"Shh!" I said.

"Secrets secrets are no fun, unless you share with everyone!" James said, after hearing me shush Adam.

"You're such a child James," Adam said, rolling his eyes.

"Oh really? You seem like more of a child than me!" James replied, smirking.

"James do you want me to tell you or not?" I said, interrupting them.

"Well, duh," James replied.

I walked over to him and whispered," You have to promise not to tell anyone, but Mal got fired."

"What? Mal got fired?" James said, really loudly.

Yeah, I expected that..

"Mal got fired?" I heard about 3 cast members say.

I shot a glance a Whit. She shook her head like I did something wrong.

"This is something that cannot be discussed! Any more word from this, and you'll face severe punishment!" Jared said.

Everyone was silent after that.

"We need to talk after this, so let's hurry up, and get out of here," Jared said.

Everyone walked to the register. One by one we placed our bags of candy down, and all of us pulled out money to pay. Mal just watched us with an ice cold glare.
