Nearly 2

Tour will be interesting with a toddler.

Kirsty called Michael and I as planned to discuss the plans for the year ahead. The two of us had said that nothing would be happening until Eve was two except new music releases. This gave us time to be a family and get our lives on track before anything eventful happened. At the time it felt like a long time away but here we were with Eve's birthday just around the corner.

In the time between her birth and the week or so before her birthday, a lot had happened. I had turned 21, we had redecorated the baby's room and about half of the house that needed it, both micheal and I played a lot of ukulele and wrote many, many songs. We had also both released an album each and replaced Curtis. A few less significant things had happened too but too many things happen in nearly two years to list them all. 

Watching Evelyn grow and develop had been amazing. I loved my family more than anything and experiencing all the interactions that we had was indescribable and not what I expected to be happening in my life at age 21.

Eve was now a toddler and she could tell us what she wanted. She could talk in one word sentences but she could walk, run, jump, clap and PLAY. I often found myself on the floor with her and a pile of toys as she played with all of them at once. There was no way to tidy because she was using everything that was out all at one time. That's talent if I've ever seen it!

Micheal and I had done so much together in such a small time. We were settled and happy but there were problems along the way. You have to learn to see both sides and try to understand where others are coming from. Micheal had done a lot of that when helping me with my dysphoria and I had done it a few times to resolve conflict. We didn't fight much really however when Eve was very small, we were both under a lot of stress and pressure while getting not enough sleep so things got messy quickly but as she grew, we all got calmer and micheal and I got more time to spend in private.

I had worked on a few exciting projects. Kirsty was constantly on hand for any questions but she also had managed to book a few special things. I had worked with a couple of brilliant people, had a cameo, made a lot of music videos :some with and some without micheal, and helped out with a movie. I was a sound director!

Luna visited just after Eve's 1st birthday however she brought Matt with her. She got a boyfriend and we got to meet him. Matt was very funny but he seemed like a genuine and all round great man for my cousin. I gave the seal of approval. They had been dating for a year or so but Luna had kept it quiet so when we met him, it was quite a surprise.

In general, the last almost 2 years had flown by. They were amazing and life changing. Without that time in my life, I would be less of a person and a little bit less in love, a little bit less content with my family and a little bit less proud of who we were all becoming.

Ahh. It's finally here!

I hope you guys are exited and ready to get thrown head first back into the life of Ross, Micheal and Evelyn Penniman. I am( even though I've been writing this since I finished different so I never really left)

I'm so excited to show you guys the next chapter in their lives (no pun intended)
