Makeover

Rydel's POV

After we had lunch I decided to have some 'girl time' with Lucy to get to know her. So while the boys clear up I take her into our room. "So, how are you enjoying yourself?" I ask as I sit on the bed. "I'm really enjoying myself Rydel, this is a dream come true. I'm spending a full year with you guys" She answers. "Has anyone caught your eye?" "Ummm... Maybe" "Who? Please tell me" I say. She walks over to me and sits next to me. She explains to me about what really happened this morning and what happened between her and Riker. "But I think that he only kissed me and called me all those things because he felt sorry for me" she says sadly.  I pull her into a hug, then an idea comes to me. "Luce, could I give you a makeover?" I asks she stares at me "I could style you to make an impression on Riker" I explain. She thinks for a moment "If I ever want to be with him, then I'm gonna need all the help I can get... Okay" she answers and I clap my hands together in delight before moving to her suitcase and looking through it. After some time I find the perfect outfit. You see with my brother he likes it when a girl exposes some flesh... So I pick out a t-shirt and a pair of shorts and converse for her. There is a knock at the door "girls we're heading out to the pool you wanna come?" Asks Riker.  "I can do your hair and makeup when we get back in. Make sure you act like your normal self-okay?" I say and she nods to show her understanding. "We'll be out in a minute!" I say before seeing a look of horror on Lucy's face.

Lucy' POV

"We'll be out in a minute!" Rydel says before looking at me and obviously seeing the look of horror on my face. "What?" she asks in a hushed tone when Riker had left. "I'm not ready to let him see me in a swimsuit" I explain "Rydel, with me if I am with a boy I really like I become super unconfident" I explain hurriedly. "Okay, okay. One calm down two you don't have to come into the pool you could use one of our lounge chairs" she says as she grabs her black and pink polka dot bikini. She changes and we grab some towels and make our way out to the backyard to see the boys already in the pool. Although I am mostly drawn to Riker (don't blame me!) he looks up with a mischievous look in his eyes. Then all the boys get out of the pool and come towards me and Rydel. "It's time for the initiation ceremony" Ross says and it clicks. "No... No.... No.... Don't you dare Ross Shor Lynch!" I say backing away before I am grabbed from behind and thrown into the pool. I resurface spluttering and shoot a death stare at Riker. "You are SO DEAD!" I yell while hoisting myself out of the pool and making a run after Riker after sometime I catch up with him and grab hold of him before literally dragging him back to the pool and pushing him in. "So now that has been sorted out I'm gonna go change." I smugly say as I head inside quickly followed by Rydel. "Lucy what happened?" Stormie asks me as I go through the kitchen. "Your eldest son happened" I reply.

After twenty minutes or so Rydel has finished my make over and the boys had come back in from the pool and were in the living room. When we get to the door we stop "You ready?" asks Rydel "ready as I'll ever be" I sigh before opening the door to be meet by each Lynch boy shirtless I can almost feel my cheeks turn scarlet. "You like what you see Lucy?" Ross asks with a smirk "shut up" I mutter. I suddenly become aware of someone watching me. I look over to my right to see Riker gawking at me, mouth slightly open pretty much the same as the ‘Love Me’ video from a few years back. “Like what you see Riker?” I ask mocking Ross causing everyone else to laugh and Ross to blush ever so slightly. As I sit next to him I say “Close your mouth or you’ll catch flies or something else” and reach over and push his jaw together, he licks his lips slightly before turning on the TV. The rest of the afternoon was spent just hanging out watching TV. The doorbell rang and Riker jumped up and left the room saying “I’ll get it!” Everyone stares after him. "Did that just happen?" Asks Rocky "I think it did" Ross replies as Riker comes back into the room "Riker has a crush" they say in a sing-song voice. Riker turns a violent shade of crimson "hey guys leave him alone" I intervene. "Thanks" he whispers into my ear. I look at him "no problems" I answer. Our eyes lock and he leans in and our lips gently brush even though it was only for a second it sent sparks down my spine causing me to shiver slightly. He then takes my hand and leads me to the basement/ rehearsal space for the band.

"Rike what are we doing in here?" I ask confused. "This is the only place that we can have some privacy" he explains "Why?" "So I could do this" he says, his voice barely a whisper before his lips meet mine and we share a sweet and emotion filled kiss. He guides my hands down his chest and leaves them there in order to hold me by my waist as I start to deepen the kiss Stormie yells "Riker could you come up here for a sec?" reluctantly he breaks the kiss and leaves me. I walk over to the stack of guitars and pick one up before strumming out 'Pass Me By' cause it is one of the only R5 songs I know the chord patteren off by heart to.  I finish the song and turn to see the rest of the Lynchs at the door looking at me. "What?" I ask as I start to take the guitar off "That was awesome!" Ross exclaims "really?" I ask taken aback "Errr yeah" Rydel says. Riker pushes past them and offeres to help me improve my technique which I accept. He then comes behind me and I put the guitar back on and he wraps his arms around my body and takes my hands and moves them in time with the strumming. "C'mon guys... Lets leave Riker and his new love interest" Stormie says and I can feel the heat rediate off Riker onto me causing me to giggle slightly. Soon it is just me and Riker again we keep the same position for a little while longer. "Rike? Did you mean what you said to me earlier? About me being beautiful and what not?" I ask removing the guitar and turning to face him but not looking in his eyes. I hear him sigh and feel his hand on my cheek forcing me to look at me with his perfect eyes which I found it so easy to get lost in. He smiled. "Yes I did" he answers before softly kissing me yet again.
