Lucy's POV

When the sun had sunk behind the rooftops I stood up and turned to Riker. "I'm sorry I didn't come back sooner" he says as he pulls me into a hug. I wished that this year could just start over, that Riker didn't get hurt, that I was me again. I look into his eyes and gently kiss him "I forgive you" I whisper. We then climb back into Riker's bedroom through the window and I lead him to the basement. He gives me a questioning look which I answer by kissing him hungrily. My hands slip under his shirt and wander up his body before I pull it off him and discard it somewhere. "Where did this come from?" he asks when we break the kiss in order to breathe. Riker's POV

I wake the next morning to see Lucy next to me. I smile to myself as what happened last night floods back into my memory. I still can't quite believe that it happened and that she is having to leave today. "Morning beautiful" I whisper as I kiss her head. "Morning" she replies groggily. Then a shout of "Lucy breakfast!" filled the house. "I don't want to go Rike. I just want to stay here with you" "I know sweetheart but you have to. The whole competition is over now. And I guess we may not see each other in person again" I reply sympathetically. She cuddles closer into me and sighs. We exchange soft love filled kisses for a little bit longer until she asks "Who in your family knows that you are alive?" "Just Rydel" I reply then the door opens to reveal Rocky. "MOM, DAD, EVERYONE GET TO MY ROOM!" I feel Lucy cuddle closer to me like she was... Scared. The rest of the family arrived and just stared at us. "R-Riker?" Mom stutters. "Hey mom" I say casually. She enters further and goes to hug me. "Hold on. I need to change first" I answer as she backs out and closes the door. We both get up and I can't help but check out Lucy's body as she grabs some clothes. She looks over at me and raises an eyebrow. I smirk and come behind her and start kisses her neck. "God I'm good" I whisper as I admire the marks on her neck and collar bone. She looks into the mirror and gasps. "Riker how am I meant to cove these up?" She asks as she turns back to face me. I shrug "you're the girl in the relationship" I answer. "Smart arse" she replies before kissing me softly and pulling on her clothes. I do the same and we head downstairs to see everyone else. 

Ross stands and comes over to me. "Is that really you Riker?" He asks "yeah" I reply before pulling him into a hug and feeling the rest of my family join in. Tears start to fill my eyes. I guess what they say is true. 'You never know who is the most importaint to you in life until you almost lose them' As the hug dispearsses I see Lucy and Rydel leave the room.

Lucy's POV

"Rydel, can you dye my hair?" I ask. "Sure, what to?" "Blonde" I reply. She smiles and we get to work. After twenty minuets my hair is done. She gasps. "Is it bad?" I say unsurely she doesn't say anything but she envelopes me in a hug. "Welcome back Lucy" she whispers into my ear. I smile at her as we break apart and I go back to my room and change out of my black 'goth-like' clothes and into my old more me clothes. I the end I settle for a aqua blue T-shirt and a pair of white skinnies and my knee-high leather boots. I look at myself in the mirror and see that my hair is not just blonde, but platinum blonde. I smile before rushing back to the living room.  I sneak up behind Riker and signal for everyone else to be quiet as I then wrap my arms around his waist, causing him to jump. I luagh as he turns to me "Lucy you scared the living shi- Oh my gosh... You're blonde" he says gawking at me. "And she's back!" Ross exclaims. "Yeah I am!" I reply. We make our way to the van and Riker doesn't take his arm off from round my waist for the entire journey.

We arrive at the airport and I text Callie to tell her that I was on my way home. I check in and then I turn back to the Lynches. "Well... I guess that this is it isn't it?" I ask. I hug Stormie and Mark "thank you so much for the past year, I... I'm... Going to miss you" I say. I then turn to Ross, Rocky, Rydel, Ellignton and Riker. "We had a blast didn't we guys?" I say trying to make them feel better about the situation. "Yeah we did" They reply. "Come on kids, we need to get going" Mark says as he and Stormie turn to leave. I quickly hug all of them before heading to the departures lounge. Before I enter I look back and see Riker looking back at me. I start to move back to him. He moves towards me. We increase our pace until we are running towards each other. When we meet he picks me up and spins me round, tears streaming down our faces. When he puts me down I lean in and kiss him pouring all of my love and emotion into it. "I love you" I say as we break apart "I love you too Lucy" he answers in a thick voice. "Goodbye my love" We kiss again and Riker dips me in his arms. Then I leave him and begin the long and lonely treck home.
