*** I can't even begin ***

"I can't even begin! Sit down Els, this is gonna take a while." A tired Sarah said. I was at her house and she was just about to explain about the note from Christina.

"Okay." I replied, and sat on her furry white couches.

"Open this up." She ordered, shoving my own package in my hands. I 'read' the letter and pretended to be surprised.

"Oh my god..." I lied. I looked up at Sarah with my mouth open.

With being a good liar, comes being a good actress.

"I know right! She just wants to be popular. And I can't believe she would even try and start drama, as if she was already in with us." Sarah complained.

"I know...I can't believe she would try and say I would overthrow you! I mean, were practically the same level of popularity anyways..." I lied, ready for Sarah to blow up.

"No way!" Sarah yelled, freaking out.

   "I was just j-"

"Your so much more popular." Sarah interrupted.

Was that supposed to be a lie?

"Uhmmm...no?" I asked her, now confused.

"Ellie, you have a boyfriend. You actually have more then one friends. You don't have any enemies." She explained. Christina technically was my enemy... but if my plan is folding before my eyes I'm just gonna roll with it.

"Kaylee and Kayla actually like you. There your true friends. And I can tell the way Jay looks at you that he loves you." She choked out, trying not to cry.

"Jason doesn't love me." I stated. Neither of us love each other. We like each other. It's just casual.

"Yes he does Ellie! You gotta tell him you love him! Before he's gone! Because people like him just disappear if they don't hear the right thing!" Sarah began to produce tears. I began to feel guilty.

"No Sarah, I don't love him or anything like that. Are you okay?" I asked.

   "I'm fine." She whispered.

"Okay..." my voice trailed off as her pup came prancing into the room. He jumped onto the couch and cuddled against Sarah's hips.

"I'm just beautiful, Ellie. That's it. Guys like me because they think I look sexy. Girls like me because they wanna be seen by cute guys who are looking at me but then casually look at them. That's it Ellie. That's all I am. A boy magnet." She yelled, and threw one of her luxurious pillows across the big room. She began to cry into her puppy's soft fur.

   Meanwhile I just sat there.

   Lying.

In a house filled with gold.

   Feeling guilty.

   Feeling powerful.

Sarah hasn't been in school for 2 days. So, I've been queen bee for 2 days.

   It was awful.

"Omg Ellie! I'm having a party, wanna come?" Tara McGuire asked me.

"I might be busy, sorry." I declined.

"Ellie! There's a new kid named Camer, he's from Texas. He's wayyyyy cuter then Jason. You need an upgrade!" Ivy Milton came up to me and exclaimed.
