3rd P.O.V.
Artemis decided to visit Hestia and ask how Percy is doing, but when she flashed in and saw Hestia stroking Percy's hair, she felt jealous.
Why you may ask? Well Artemis has had feelings for the son of Poseidon ever since he saved her and helped Zoe die in peace. He is also the only male that the Hunt doesn't prank at camp. Both out of respect and a bit of fear. They had all seen what an angry Percy was like when Octavian decided to insult Luna's sword skills. Lets just say that he was in the infirmary for a few weeks due to almost drowning.
When they say Artemis watching them,Percy and Hestia scrambled to look normal, but the pair just got a snort of laughter from the moon goddess. She was jealous, but knew the pair were like mother and son. She just wished she could hold him or just sit in his lap. While Artemis knew it would never happen, she still had hope. Maybe she could convence Zeus to give her Percy as a guardian from all the extra monsters from the last two wars.
"What's going on in here?" Asked Artemis
"Nothing, I'm just visiting for the night.", replied Percy.
"What about Annabeth?"
I then saw Percy start to tear up a little. I walked up to hug and comfort him. He shrank back as if he were scared of me.
I kept going towards him and hugged him. A first he tensed, then relaxed and cried into my shoulder. I saw Hestia sadly smiling at him in my arms. A felt him slowly relax even farther and fall asleep, still in my embrace. I asked Hestia where to put him, but she said he usually just passes out on the couch. Hestia then said that she had never seen Percy look so relaxed than at that time. Artemis proceeded to try to get out of Percy's embrace, but the son of Poseidon just clung to her tighter. She was tempted to try and flash, but then she couldn't continue to hold him.
And if he woke up, he might be even more depressed because another woman he tried to get close to had abandoned him. And she didn't want the only man in the world to want to avoid her. So she decided just to adjust to a more comfortable position.
