My grandmother was the only one who ever talked to me about the Woods, and what she did tell me was very little. She told me about all of the beautiful as well as terrible creatures in those woods; of all the magic and mischief. Most people dared not speak of it, for there were severe consequences to those who did so. But my grandmother was extremely careful and daring. There wasn't much that could stop her from doing what she set her mind to do.
Of course, when I had heard those stories, I was a small child and believed them. Now that I have grown up, my mind had changed, thinking that those tales of the Woods was just a fairy-tale, and that all of the rumors I had heard were untrue. I was wrong. Those stories about the Woods were true. Everything in the Woods was very much alive, and they were very angry.
