The Wait...

The wait for the Teen Awards begin!!

So today is October 13th 2016. 11:07pm if you want to know what the time that I'm writing this bit of the story. I was just listening to "American Idiot" by Green Day whilst I was writing that, if you were curious at all. I'm pretty sure that none of you give a shit about what I was listening to or the time or even the date that I'm writing this, but I don't care I put it in anyways.

I've got about 2 minutes of the vlog done, so I guess that's going well. I'm kinda looking forward to vlogging, I've got a few ideas that I want to do in the vlog, but who knows if I'll actually get round to doing it, and who knows if I'll actually end up vlogging when I'm there. I hope I do because it'll be a step forward for my confidence because my confidence levels are below 0, so it'll be great if I actually have the guts to vlog there and then even upload the video to YouTube.

The tickets haven't come yet, so I'm hoping they come this weekend whilst I'm away. If their not here by next Saturday (October 22nd) then we will be screwed because that's the day before the Teen Awards. So I'm hoping the tickets are here before next Thursday at the latest.

The other day I lost pretty much all of my music on my phone because I had to reset iTunes on my laptop, as I've got a new one. So I've had to change all of the songs that I've had and things like that. I've added a load of songs by Jess Glynne on my phone because I don't really know the words to her songs, so I'm hoping to learn the words before the event next week so I can sing awfully when she's performing. I need to add DNCE's latest song which I don't even know the name of at this moment in time, it's got something to do with a body or something idk. I keep mistaking it as Body Says by Demi Lovato but it's not called body says. I also need 'Toothbrush' by DNCE on my phone because they're probably going to perform that as well as the body song and 'Cake By The Ocean'. I also need to get a few of The Vamps' songs on my phone so I can be prepared for their performance again.

Little Mix finally announced their new song!! It's called "Shoutout To My Ex". I haven't heard it yet, but I've seen that Perrie drags the shit out of Zayn, so hopefully I'll like it. I can't wait to see them live for the second time, they are one of the best performers I've seen live, alongside Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding of course. Their new album comes out next month so I'm buzzing for that. I think it comes out November 22nd - this is just a guess, Mixers - I give you permission to correct me if you're reading this, you can also drag me if I've got this wrong if you'd like. Even though I stan the girls a little, I don't know every single detail about them. But yeah, the album is called "Glory Days" and you better buy it when it comes out.

It's now 11:22pm, still on October 13th, but now I'm listening to "Goodness Gracious" by Ellie Goulding (Great song btw). I'm hoping that Ellie performs seeing as she's just finished tour and she has a newish song out at the moment, if she did - it would be the third time seeing her live for me so I'm hoping that happens.

I also kinda wanna see Fifth Harmony there seeing as they're on tour in the UK at the moment (I think, I'm not entirely sure - I don't stan 5H). I want to see Justin Bieber there again because he's also here on tour at the moment, so I'd like to see him make a surprise performance like he did last year. If he did make a surprise performance, my reaction would be great for the vlog because last year I was literally on the verge of peeing because I was so excited that he was there, I nearly cried and I was shaking so badly. That is what happens when you lowkey stan an artist that you've been wanting to see live since you were 9 years old. (If you're wondering, I'm 17 now. I was 16 when I saw Justin last year.)

I wonder what my reaction will be when Joe Jonas comes on stage because as I mentioned in the first chapter, I've been a fan of him since I was like 6/7 years old. I was bad during Justin, so hopefully I won't be as bad as I was during his performance during DNCE's performance. If I will be anything like I was last year, I'll ask Reece to record it so I can put it in the vlog so you can all see how stupidly weird I am. When Nick Jonas came on the stage in 2014 with Dan & Phil to present an award, I lost my shit because he was also a big part of my childhood. Again, I nearly started crying. But I was a Joe girl during the JoBros time, so I might actually end up crying, ya never know. I hope I don't cry because I honestly hate crying, I don't do it a lot, so it takes a lot for me to cry.

I'm not sure if I'm going to write about the Teen Hero awards because I tried doing that last year and I didn't get past the first one, so I probably won't end up writing about them. But if I do, hey more reading for you guys so peak for you!! Hopefully no one falls off the stage like Michael did last year during SLSP. He's such an idiot lmao.

From today (13/10/15) we have 10 days to wait, well 9 really, seeing as today's nearly over with the time being 11:34pm and I'll probably be asleep soonish, so it's more like 9 days to wait. Hopefully it goes fast and hopefully the tickets get here on time!

So... Today is Monday the 17th of October. 6 days to wait now. The tickets came on Saturday morning, before I left to go up north. On Friday I think it was, my mum got an email saying that there wasn't going to be any access to the red carpet, so the fans won't be able to see anyone before the event. We might be able to see them driving into the arena before the show, so that might be a bit interesting, but I doubt anyone will get to see them seeing as they usually just drive past and ignore everyone.

Last night, I watched Little Mix's performance on X Factor and they honestly slayed so much. I can't wait for the LM4 era. Shoutout To My Ex is such a good song, last time I checked it was number 9 in the iTunes chart, it got there within like half an hour of getting released, so I feel like a proud mother to them because they got to number 9. As I may have mentioned I'm not sure, I stan Little Mix a bit so I'm just kinda like "slay" at anything they do. So after watching them last night I can't wait for their performance on Sunday!!

The Vamps have also released a new song, but I haven't heard it yet - I just know they have a new song out because of their Snapchat. I'll try and have a listen to it before the Teen Awards so I can see if I like it or not before Sunday. If I do like it, it'll be a bonus because I'll get to see it live.

So the day before the Teen Awards, I was working all day so I was pretty tired. Then I had a party to go to straight after work, so I didn't really have much time to relax at all. So I got home at about 6:50pm, then I got ready to go out. 

The party was my friends 18th, so of course we'd all be drinking. Which was a mistake for me because I got a little bit tipsy, but I was okay in the end. We left the party at about 10:45pm and when I got home, I just remember sitting on the toilet sending Snapchat's to people telling them that their amazing. I also send a snapchat of myself eating bread because I wanted chicken nuggets and all I had was bread, so I decided to take a snapchat of it for some odd reason. 

Then I went to bed, so I'd be alright for the Teen Awards. I stupidly didn't have any water before I went to bed so I'd be feeling shit all of Sunday.

So yeah, there's all of the wait for the Teen Awards, it's not much and none of you probably care what I did waiting for the Teen Awards to come, but oh well.
